  1. Are the hood pins necessary? I've been told no by some shops and have read yes in some instances. I notice a lot of carbon fiber hoods don't have them. Or is it only seibon hoods where its essential?

  2. NEXT GIVEAWAY PROJECT CAR! PLEASE DO ONE OF THESE!!

    1992 Nissan Cedric,
    1990 Nissan Pulsar,
    1993 Nissan Cima,
    1993 Nissa Gloria,

    1992 Honda Civic SIR II,
    1992 Toyota Soarer,

  3. Loved this kit on my WRX, I used the Password JDM install kit. It gives you a back plate so your not just putting bolts and nuts through the hood. It make installing these much easier.

  4. @07:39 I couldn't f**** agree more my friend. That's why I follow your builds meticulous and don't do s*** half-ass and you plan ahead for Symmetry and Aesthetics along with performance it's like we're working from the same Playbook

  5. I know for a looks the feather Parts supposed to go to the front but that allows the wind to catch the latch if that latch ever God forbid popped open it folds back so the wind can push it back which would unlatch it and then cause the hood to pop up and then the wind would catch it and slam it back against the glass whereas if the latch was the opposite direction with the pointy side forward and the fat round side backwards. If the same scenario happen God forbid the latch popped and cause the handle to lift up the wind would push down against it in the opposite direction forcing the latch to stay locked unlike the first scenario. Now I do not care either way that's just my personal Insight other than that doesn't really matter I just think it's a wild design I think it looks better when the fatter part faces forward however there's a design flaw where if that latch pops and the handle lifts the air will catch it pushing it backwards unlocking it allowing are to pick up the hood and throw it backwards now that's of course if an oem hood latch isn't being used but I'm not making that claim

  6. I thought they were supposed to face the other way. The way you have it the wind can push against a latch that’s not fully snapped in and completely release during high speeds.

  7. Well I have to say I am extremely impressed with another build from Mick and rick. I would love to enter the contest but have to ask if Canadians have a chance to win this?

  8. Don't know how you get anything done with all the talking and explaining you do like ur teaching 10yo everysingle step while repeating it all before u start and finish I like the cars u work on u have good ideas just don't need every detail

  9. So sad when you see white dust coming from "carbon fiber" part during cutting… nice install though. Your attention to detail and Bad Apple build are the main things I'm watching Throtl vids 🙂
