Installing the Aero catch hood latches are an awesome addition to the Seibon Carbon fiber DVII style hood. They not only provide a nice aesthetic touch, but they are locking & provide secure mounting points for our new, lightweight Seibon Carbon hood. Be sure to watch this video to the very end to see the entire process. One quick slip and your brand new hood could be ruined!

What can be done to repair a section that was cut out? Any suggestions for closing a hole in a cf hood or part?
I find it weird that you removed the factory latch to do this
Are the hood pins necessary? I've been told no by some shops and have read yes in some instances. I notice a lot of carbon fiber hoods don't have them. Or is it only seibon hoods where its essential?
I have a thumbs up for the beard!!!! I have beard goals!!!
What's the name of the intro song?
where are you guys located? great video
Now….. is the Warrior Alpha hockey stick #Mickeyspec? 😂😂😂
Yea but the amount of inches you are past the touching point on the oil marks 1" above that hood rest position & it will be a inch off or .5" per inch ect
Throtl ViP squad Good evening Mickey awesome more 240 SX content 😊👍

I tried to buy some aerocatch hood pins from you guys about a year ago and was told you no longer sell them 😥
Man he’s good ! Clean !
Loved this kit on my WRX, I used the Password JDM install kit. It gives you a back plate so your not just putting bolts and nuts through the hood. It make installing these much easier.
The throtl watermark in the middle of the screen is really distracting…
That is down right cool
Anyone notice the throtl icon in the middle of the screen?
Hey great job so far! This thing is really starting to take shape! You guys rock!
Quote of the day "now we can start making big holes"…..
Can somebody tell me song name used in intro?
Why would you paint the hood
Painting Carbon is a sin. If you’re painting just do a fiberglass hood
Ehh what's the point in painting the carbon fibre it looks good just clear coated
CAN YOU JUST KEEP THE CAR IT WOULD BE SO NICE TO SEE IT EVERY DAY IN THE VIDEOS
I don't understand why people paint carbon 🙁 you're ruining it!
Great job Micky it's gonna look sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Neat
Nice work! Looks sick
@07:39 I couldn't f**** agree more my friend. That's why I follow your builds meticulous and don't do s*** half-ass and you plan ahead for Symmetry and Aesthetics along with performance it's like we're working from the same Playbook
I know for a looks the feather Parts supposed to go to the front but that allows the wind to catch the latch if that latch ever God forbid popped open it folds back so the wind can push it back which would unlatch it and then cause the hood to pop up and then the wind would catch it and slam it back against the glass whereas if the latch was the opposite direction with the pointy side forward and the fat round side backwards. If the same scenario happen God forbid the latch popped and cause the handle to lift up the wind would push down against it in the opposite direction forcing the latch to stay locked unlike the first scenario. Now I do not care either way that's just my personal Insight other than that doesn't really matter I just think it's a wild design I think it looks better when the fatter part faces forward however there's a design flaw where if that latch pops and the handle lifts the air will catch it pushing it backwards unlocking it allowing are to pick up the hood and throw it backwards now that's of course if an oem hood latch isn't being used but I'm not making that claim
You guys should let @itsjusta6 help you do an introduction video!
Toothpaste also works really well if you've got a dark coloured bonnet
DOCTOR
I thought they were supposed to face the other way. The way you have it the wind can push against a latch that’s not fully snapped in and completely release during high speeds.
Well I have to say I am extremely impressed with another build from Mick and rick. I would love to enter the contest but have to ask if Canadians have a chance to win this?
looks really good Mickey
Mickey = Attention To Detail 👌
You could install a KITT light on that car from Michael Knight…
Are you going to delete the hood brace completely and run gas struts on the sides like you did on Mickeys RX7?
Don't know how you get anything done with all the talking and explaining you do like ur teaching 10yo everysingle step while repeating it all before u start and finish I like the cars u work on u have good ideas just don't need every detail
Why don’t you guys enjoy the car after being built. I feel bad for you lol
I actually really like these latches, and this car is going to be insane.
Warrior alpha stick?? Who's the bender??
So sad when you see white dust coming from "carbon fiber" part during cutting… nice install though. Your attention to detail and Bad Apple build are the main things I'm watching Throtl vids 🙂
I wouldn't paint the hood if I was building this car I would like to see it with carbonfiber first
