The way i was taught was always take your time to prep, prep prep; take your time, measure multiple times, take your time. Keep things clean.

Couldn't you use a glue on system to pull the dent out without any heat?
I have always thought – how bad can the diff/trans oil smell? Always thought that it was a joke or smth… but then I changed that on my car and accidentally spilled it on soil (like 100 mililiters). Smell still exists after 2 years 😀
the car that got rescued was cool but they did not have the SS package on 73 Camaros so who ever bought the car got bad info

While you're totally right about the spot welds and heat, but I tend not to care as much on the inner panels that nobody will ever really see.
I had this exact car! I bought it wrecked as a project when I was getting my auto body degree back in 1975-76. Mine was gold with black interior. I painted it a similar but brighter green with Imron paint and clear. It was hit in the driver's rear quarter. It had 50,000 miles. the 400 was a great engine. I loved that big old bench seat. I can't wait for the next episode! Can I buy it when you are done?
I love the video. I am working on a 1979 gmc caballero Diablo. It’s going to have a 406 sbc. My uncle put it on the engine dyno it has 675 hp. And 570 ft/lb of torque should be a fun time
I had a burgundy 70 Camaro I built as my first car. Hard to believe what it would be worth today but I prefer my Toyota Supra now.
the rescue's never never seem legit its always a second car why not someone having to walk to work because there car is broke down

In 1973, unless that motor has been upgraded with go fast goodies.? It’s a slug. 1971, ended the muscle cars. Compression ration fell, intake valves sizes reduced, cams detuned in duration and lift, they looked pretty but ran like slugs.
When I went to Vo-Tec auto body the stud gun was farely new. It works for shrinking metal too. Just use it with out the studs.
I've owned 4 f-body Camaro's , and never once had a mullet . I do have long hair but it's all one length .

That blue gear lube looks like something rated GL5, which is a no-no for brass synchro transmissions. GL4 only. Hopefully ya’ll put the right stuff back in.
Get a new panel, cut it in bits use part of it!
Put a whole panel on and sand blast rust before putting the new one on. I get the cars a POS but god sake do the job properly.

Misleading ; you can have all the air tools in the world but if you don’t have a good air compressor they don’t do much. And those little 20 -40 gallon compressors won’t run air tools very well.
Finally the return of fat stack build, I love that old boat! It’s going to be an awesome ride once it’s done!

Could you for your 1st car and and you want to make it look nicer either for yourself or 2 eventually be able to sell in the future is it worth it But at the same time try not to get wrapped up in a money pit vehicle
