This Trans Am is a beauty you want to see! Chris Ryan of Ryan’s Rod & Kustom came by the POWERNATION Studio with the 1978 Trans Am he restored – Mullet Missile. He took the Trans Am and replaced the cheesy, dated aspects with timeless, custom work. From the bumpers to the interior to under the hood there is no part of this car left untouched.

  1. ‘hell with the LS haters. The main question is who is it that you know would make me that shaker base? I have, pretty much, the same setup. My tig welding on the base holds up but looks like a taco bell toilet. It cant be a 1 of 1!!!

  2. fantastic to modernize such a gorgeous classic model back to original state is a very challenge job,but you guys take a few steps further than that to modernize it to lure me to own one of this dream car for myself- ( trans am )always my dream car literally

  3. Absolutely FANTASTIC Build… It's annoying to listen to people talk about cars like this in their OEM form being the only way to do it. Right now, this car is SO MUCH BETTER than anything that came off the production line during that entire run of F Bodies.

  4. My step brother had the six cylinder version 😂 he even had the dual exhaust 😂. But then he fell onto the Ford Ranger Splash! V-8 🎉 it drove better than the ranger reg. Only in 2 door, fancy step side fender had that forever since new!! Hope to see it this year!

  5. The round headlights don’t work well in an era that was shifting to more squared geometric body lines. Still very cool build though

  6. Overall, beautiful car. Im not a fan off round headlights or the red interior. But would like to see a modern version of this in production. Overall, beautiful car and i appreciate all the work that went into it

  7. I really liked everything about it color choices interior/ exterior motor choice the head light im on the fence about how ever once they lit up made a difference wheels not my style . some old style honey combs done up right possibly .

  8. I normally hate modified trans ams from this generation and there are so many ugly abominations out there. But this one is done right. GM should bring back Pontiac and build it as close to this as possible. This car looks amazing! Great work!
