  1. It's easy to be a back seat driver on YouTube, so excuse me for offering my opinion.

My opinion on a build like this: Build the entire drivetrain, undercarriage, stiffening components, suspension, brakes, steering column wheels tires into a jig to meet the final wheelbase of the donor vehicle. Cut the entire bottom of the car, firewall, and even wheel wells out. Lower the car onto the system and then build a tube frame chassis that ties into the roll cage (only enough for the driver area). Then build a floor, firewall, wheel wells, over the chassis, drivetrain, etc. with reinforced plates at mounting points.

With this system there's less wondering about what to keep and what to remove. Instead of building a system to meet all the geometry of the vehicle. Just use the vehicle as a shell that attaches to a purpose built racecar.

  2. I would leave the transverse engine setup with a 4wd transmission and cut off front axels. It would spare a lot of work, but it wouldn't be as cool.

  3. Hey you think we can get your videos chronologically numbered? Would be easy to scroll through the playlist in order. Thanks!! Y’all Fun to watch!!
