Is the one 4.3 that's ever been built ?
This is probaly in the top 10 of chevy motors. It just goes and goes and its just a short block V8 with 2 cylinders lopped off, so easy to work on – great motor.
Waaaaaaooo
485 hp
Esos 4.3 de verdad que son impresionantes lo que aguantan y el caballaje que pueden dar
Gotta put it back in a s10
50 plus years ago 485hp and 525 pounds of torque would have been limited edition big block territory! That V6 would fit easily in a lightweight Chevette!
Hola me encantaría hacer eso en mi camioneta s10 4.3 v6 tbi.
Ct sounds
Put it in a Chevy Blazer 😊
Considering my 2003 4.3 makes 200hp and 275 ftlb. That is Impressive! and still get 17-20 mpg.👍👍🏁🏁
I get in trouble with 250hp!!
i got a 93 silvarado that i would love to offer up, im moving to tennasse soon as well. would love to see what would work
Looking on video. I see your intake on table like to no more info about it like to see if. I can get one
Damn shame they didn’t use the vortec heads and left all that extra free power on the table
That’s the same setup that came in the gmc syclone (Sonoma) and typhoon (jimmy) back in the 90s loved my syclone single turbo awd
I have a 1971 Datsun pick up that would love that v6.
there is almost no aftrmarket support for the 4.3 because its easier to swap with a V8, you get a lot more power with less work and less money, its too bad because there are some nice 4.3 vehicles out there, Id love to spruce mine up and don't want to swap it, its original low miles but wouldn't mind some bolt on mods for more power
Most builder would just swap an ls instead.
ALWAYS antisieze on the turbo mount nuts. After years they will otherwise need to be heated red hot or cut.
Add water injection. Methanol only for freeze protection. With water injection you can add a couple of degtees timing and lean out the air fuel ratio a bit.
Can you please put that engine in my 98 GMC Safari??? 🥺 Its my house and i need help.
after teardown-> "how the f#$% did slag get in those intake valves?"
3.8
Also more v6 builds please!
Love these v6s. Nissan and honda have v6 as their top trim cars(nsx and their race cars, and gtr) and they can bring it. I think that american v6s dont get the same aftermarket love because they already have v8. But if you have a turbo and you have a v6…. Its a no brainer!
Where can I find these parts
That's ight my 2002 chevy Silverado 4.3 is getting built, and getting a turbo
Creeping up on 190,000miles on a stock 2000 gmc sierra L35. Regular maintenance and typical highway driver.
Is this an lv3 lu3 or older?
Cardboard -aided design lol
CAD = Cardboard aided design! Ha! Love it!
@POWERNATION Please do a naturally aspirated high rpm screamer build on this engine next. Much more aggressive cams than before you turbocharged it , high compression and maybe a lightweight flywheel to make this thing sound lively🙏
Where is the 3800????
i have this in my 86 monte carlo CL its got 325k..its on its way out so i want a sbc 350 355 400 😊
My neighbor and I both bought new 1988 S-10s when the 4.3 first showed up on dealer showrooms. His only lasted 100k miles and his friend rebuilt it and stuck a Holley 4bbl on it. Not for performance, just drivability. My 1988 ran like a champ into the 180K miles and I sold it to a buddy. He drove it for years. Those were great motors in their day. The V8 in my Silverado has been amazing. Fifteen trouble-free years and counting.
Id like to see them put in a classic ride..😮
easier and better looking to just add a supercharger…
