  1. What a lame excuse for using 2 air systems… all that's needed is a solenoid to shut off the air to the rear suspension distribution block/solenoids to keep the system working with a bag rupture. Plenty of Semis run everything with the trucks air supply. The real truth is that this show is a showcase for manufacturers' products who obviously pay for the advertisement. Putting the 3rd air tank so close to the rear tire was a fail also. Tread separation destroys air tank. Could have at least combined the 2 systems so that the electric pumps back up and parallel the engine driven pump… mount the 3rd tank with the other 2 tanks to increase capacity.
I suppose that with the limited budget and time constraints that some lame content gets through unfiltered…..
    Nice 4×4 Parade Queen though

  2. “It’s an army truck, it’s invaded countries, it’ll go anywhere”

“I know it’ll go anywhere, I just don’t know if it’ll get out”

I may be entirely projecting but that was funny

  3. In areas like the frame you're better off using a paint that you apply with a brush/roller. Its much thicker so you get far more coverage with much fewer coats. But the main reason its better is because you can work it into a porous surface like rust with a brush/roller. Spraying won't penitrate a surface, it just sits on top. Thats why painters will apply paint with a sprayer and then spread it with a roller to saturate the substrate. I like oil-based rustoleum which also can be sprayed if you cut it with a solvent.

  4. Great job!
You should do a bit more studying. You can put a valve in the factory air system, that would not disable the rest of the system if you blow an airbag. The compressors are a lot of extra cost. To run 12v on a 24 system. A simple relay and bring the positive wire off the grounded battery works great.

  5. Safety? Really? Ever heard of a check valve. I work on heavy trucks for a living. They use one compressor for every thing all they have to do is separate the different systems by check valves. Even your truck has a primary and secondary system for the brakes. Just admit you used that crap for the show, nothing wrong with that.

  6. If they didn't cut the back axle off then that side by side would probably fit in the back. Everyone who bobs a deuce will spend an extra 1000 years in purgatory!
