This ASMR video covers a complete 4 wheel brake job, and brake hose replacement on a 2005 Honda Element. There is no dialog.

In this video you will hear disc brakes being replaced, brake hoses being replaced, a brake lathe, cleaning, bleeding brakes, and a final test drive.

I spent extra time sweetening the audio on this so grab your headphones, or other personal listening device and enjoy.

Thanks for watching!

  1. Feel like I'm spying on you EC! Lol, like a secret camera, "Somebody's Watching Me!". Lol. V/O or not, happy to visit with you and see ya work! Ps, I want the Keg, lol!

  2. To me, ASMR is the manly sound of your voice telling us the problems to look out for/avoid. Your narration is always crisp & distinct. Your voice matched with your dry humour is part of your channel, please bring it back. That said, great video and work ethic as always, thank you Eric. Kind regards from Galway, Ireland 😉👍🍻💚

  3. We can easily call U as our side Your new nick Name, " ERIC THE BROTHER GUY " 🥰🥰🥰🤝💯

  4. Sorry guys. I find I like it much more when Eric talks to us and explains why he's replacing or fixing something. I was wondering why he replaced the rear parking brake shoes. Guess I'll never know.

Then when seating the new brakes the silence was like when my wife is mad at me.

Eric were you mad at us???

  5. Eric, please do more of these. One of my favorite aspects of your channel is the crisp, hall-effect sounds of tools in action. The noise of your tools has no business sounding as amazing as they do.

  6. I couldn't go that long without answering the voices I have in my head, they have some great ideas sometimes.
Well done Eric. Interesting video for us " visual learning types"

  7. Cool.

Ya sure gotta watch those fragile rear brake shields.

It's a stupid design and a big job to change them. The whole backplate needs to come off (err, no thanks!).

My testing guy said, that as long as you remove both sides, it's not a 'fail' point. Mine both disintegrated anyways so I didn't have a choice. Haven't noticed any downside yet…

  8. That first brake line was looking sketchy at first 😬 Im glad my car doesnt have that style hand brake.. such a pain in the ass.
This was an awesome video Eric! 😍🙌

  9. Love it. Iv'e recently been getting into ASMR channels on Youtube as it helps with anxiety and to quiet my mind. Sometimes we need to just listen to the world around us instead of being loud ourselves. This is how inner peace can be found. Everyone has their own form of meditative practice and it seems even performing a world-class brake job can be that very practice. Thanks for trying something new and making great content as always!

  10. Hi Eric . Another excellent informative video . I use the exact same bleed bottle . Old lemon 🍋 bottle with the nipple connection. Perfect 👍🇺🇸 I also use the plastic cap off a cake decorating sprinkle bottle on the axle nut keeps salt & dirt out especially with winter tires with no hub caps . They fit perfectly on the Honda hub . Just tap on with a hammer . 👍

  11. ASMR has the opposite effect on me compared to most people but the shop sounds did remind me of part of my childhood. I could almost smell it too.

  12. Eric, I got just as frustrated as you did when went to fit the rear disc/parking drum on. As a machinist, it was cool to see you take that problem head on with the brake lathe.
