The lighter, smaller Mustang Cobra has a 32-valve twin-overhead cam V8 that gives it a straight-line advantage, but it gives up a victory to the Z28 on the road course. But with a smoother ride and a quieter exhaust, the Mustang was a much more refined road car. So which car is the winner? You’ll have to decide for yourself.
