The 18V AC Delco ARI2023 1/2 inch impact is a good tool. I feel it would be great for someone that didn’t have an air compressor or to store in your vehicle in case you needed to remove a wheel or perform other maintenance on the fly. It’s not the most powerful gun on the market but it gets the job done. I hope to test it’s limits as I use the tool over the next few months. If anything that needs reporting comes up, I’ll post it to the forum discussion about this video. Here’s some useful links for you.

  1. I have a DC impact wrench driver electric plugs into a cigarette lighter and it does the same thing and when you tighten the wheel nuts I checked it with a tire iron and they were really tight so you'll have to go out and buy that expensive tool

  2. I’ve had one of these for a few years now. It gets used daily on our farm. I’ve beat the snot out of it and it still kicks ass.

  3. I use a Dewalt DCF899. It is an absolute beast! It beats nearly every other 1/2" impact on the market (air and electric), is brushless and will smash off Honda crank bolts like they're mechano. Highly recommended and all Dewalt tools I've ever owned are still going strong 10 years on so probably going to last.

  4. I've never used the AC Delco but I have used the brushed and brushless M18 and I have to say the brushless is a beast. but it's heavy. my rist gets tired. I wish it was Moore balanced. I gotta say I wouldn't Evan consider the AC Delco tool. I would say that if any of the new brushless Milwaukee, DE Walt, or Makita doesn't take off the nut or bolt it's either gonna break or you will have to cut it.

  5. all of you need to learn how to buy air impact guns there's only one brand AirclCat but really NitroCat…f$%& all the other's mac & snap on p.s. I didn't watch the video…

  6. im really into these battery powered tools.I prefer the Milwaukee brand because of the reliability and the crazy amount of power and run times

  7. Looks like a re-branded Chinese no-brand. Maybe the same manufacture or Harbor Freight tools? Including extra brushes tells me it's cheaply made.

  8. DO NOT !!! tighten axle shaft nuts with an impact wrench, that nut needs to be torqued with a torque wrench because that sets the preload for the wheel bearing. If you just hammer it tight with an impact, good chance the wheel bearing wont last long. for torque specs go to
