  1. Never got to meet Jessi, bless'r… Ian was a highschool shop teacher before 4×4, I learned how to weld and bend pipe from him in the classroom. Xtreme 4×4 was always a great show.

  2. Though the fastest woman alive may be gone, she is not forgotten. Her passion for building cars was seen in every episode of Trucks. Sadly, her lust for speed was her undoing, and on August 27, 2019, Jessi Combs ran two land speed record runs in the Alvord Desert in Oregon, but a front wheel assembly collapsing after Combs’ car likely hit something in the desert spelled disaster and the end of Combs’ life. But all was not in vain. Her speed of 522.738 mph, set on August 27, 2019, was verified in June 2020 as having broken the 512.71 mph record set in 1976 at the same location By Kitty O’Neil. This proves that Jessi Combs’ was the fastest woman alive and is the fastest woman in Heaven.

  3. In the opening, she is actually using a grinder without full goggles?? I noticed that the heaviest thing she lifted in the entire episode was a jack stand, and they had to edit the footage where she struggled to pull the pallet jack out from under the engine. I guess we're supposed to PRETEND that she's doing all the same work as the guys, though, huh?

  4. Hadn't seen her in years back when I was stuck watching cable tv used to watch this show all the time. She should have stuck to 4wheelan. Land speed racing is right up there high risk Motorsports. My father did some back in the 70's on the salt flats he saw someone get killed caught some air and flipped end over high speed.
