It’s the start of our MuscleTrux series and to kick it off, it’s the oldest matchup in the book, Ford versus Chevy. Ryan’s taking a 1990 454 SS Chevy while Kevin’s picking a ’94 Ford Lightning. Today, we’re gonna find out just how much these two trucks will put out in their stock form so each guy can formulate a secret plan to push both of these trucks towards the 400 horsepower mark. Then later in the season, we’ll pit them head to head to see which one comes out on top.

Follow the match up in the MuscleTrux Wars playlist:

  1. This was over once i saw Chevy Truck vs. Ford Truck. Ford has kicked EVERYONE'S Truck ass since 77. Nothing was as fast Lightning as soon as it showed up. Chevy always thinks big blocks automatically win. They forget the power to weight ratio. Give it up, Chevy. Dodge is the closest competition. That's not even close.

  2. The lightn is sharp. The SS is nice out some factory wheels an fat tires on it an pops much better , friend of mine has one I have 97 150 triton 4.6 an outdrawn him by a good 2 fenders but he was there few mods on the ole 454 an he’d smoke me

  3. You can tell hes a ford owner when his dumbass said knock some chevy syclones out of the way….yeah you keep dreaming…next your gonna say it'll take on a grand national too…..moron
