Very nice job that is going to be one tuff Comet , i use to own 4 Comets of 1964 , probably the nicest car mercury ever made, you know the saying i want to drive my mercury , keep up the great work in making one very heavy duty Comet , i can t wait to see that car finished .

Good job with the frame rails but then you’re running a full bead never stop in the middle of the weld it will create a weak spot

I would have liked to have been told what the difference between a competition and a just looks good cage is and why they didn't go with the competition.. i know it has something to do with the seats and belts but there is probably more to it like wall thickness and diameter.
so if the car is trapping over 145mph it needs a cage?

Use a no-dog. It's a tiny level that attaches to the end of the pipe. Electrical supply houses have them.
