  1. I drill, and ream the covers and install a 250 hard steel pin, so you have locating pins in the block before ever removing the front and rear covers just like gen. 1 sbc ! Saves you from buying tools that you may use once!

  2. I got a question….
    Can the same combination or similar, be applied to a ls 383ci. stroker with the same intake and about 10.5-1 compression?
    And still have similar results!

  3. That will put it to the ground nicely.
    My ls2 403 stroker with a ysi head laid down over 500 ft lbs of torque at 2600… Absolutely zero traction. Hated it because it ruined the average light to light and made my car a 70 roll only. My mistake

  4. I would love to see a 100+ HP per liter "moon-tune" full send N/A build one day (in this case, 600hp for a 6.0L). I know the LS7 from the C6 Z06 can get there somewhat easily, but seeing it in a 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, or 6.0 would be awesome as well.

  5. I think this is the most gorgeous engine you guys have ever built. As far as I am concerned I don't really care about the rest of the car. The engine is the heart of it all. Kudos to you as well as your sponsors (especially ARP).

  6. That was disappointing tbh. Buddy of mine has an 06 GTO with high compression bottom end (still 6.0) big cam, and LS3 top end, and it pulled 528 to the wheels, about 620hp at the crank

  7. LOL. you said "nifty" Frankie. You're darn tooting right too. That's a sweet balance that long ago wouldn't have been messed with. The only thing you n Pat need is a Spintron. I'd like to see a comparison of dyno runs between this ITB vs A long tube plenum intake both being mpi basically it's the airflow that will show up.

  8. Is that not hilarious … I've NEVER in all the time I spent watching these two ever seen either one of them "LEAN" on anything but looking at them one could easily see they have spent some time leaning against something . NOT exactly He Man material …

  9. You balanced without the flywheel? And why didn't you through the dampener on the front to get a good reading with that after all was said and done? I don't want to harp on you guys, but those double and triple checks can be the difference a masterpiece and a giant paperweight.
