This week PowerNation goes country with singer-songwriter Krista Marie from the group The Farm. She joins Courtney with her 1953 Chevy pickup that’s seen in the band’s music video “Home Sweet Home”. The truck has also become the mascot at Fontanel Mansion in White’s Creek, Tennessee, former home of Barbara Mandrell. It’s now a resort destination attraction with restaurant, Pritchard’s Distillery, a wine tasting room, a huge outdoor amphitheater and a five star inn. Krista is an avid gearhead who has raced cars and ATVs and loves her tired old truck, but it needs a lot of work, so she’s here to kickoff the refresh of her bow tie in an upcoming episode of Truck Tech, which you can watch in a few weeks. Krista wrote and performed the theme song for NHRA and she and her band have played at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. It’s going to be an awesome show so tune in this week!
