Your donations and my hard work, all pay off in this episode. Yes, it’s time to give away the 2005 Honda Odyssey to a deserving family! In this episode, I do exactly that.

Jennifer’s family fell on hard times during COVID and they ended up in a vehicle that just wasn’t working for them. As you’ll see in the video, our chance meeting has changed all of that.

I’m very proud to have put your donations to good use here. This is the reason I put in the effort, to help people and give them a second chance. I feel I have realized the vision I’ve had for Fixing it Forward from the beginning.

Introducing Fixing it Forward: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfBnTwpEBu0&t=4s

I’m still mulling over the future of Fixing it Forward. There have been new developments that effect my ability to do this work. I’ll get into that in a future episode when I have more information. For now, Fixing it Forward donations are on hold until I figure that out. I still have enough in reserve to do at least one more vehicle. We’ll just take things as they come until then.

I would like to personally thank everyone that donated to help make this happen. I’d also like to thank those companies that donated their products to help me complete this work. Thank you!

  1. 천사야 에릭은

  2. Apologize for car not being clean. Yet did all this hard knuckle busting work for free!

These folks need to think of Eric and make him a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving

  3. Hey Eric, post production suggestion, the interview section had a weird stereo separation, consider downmixing to mono for segments like that?

  4. Not sure what you have in development, but something like Fixing it foward brings great joy to the hearts of viewers like me. What matters the most if you ended the day saying , man what a good day it was and tomorrow I will also do great things. We have great visions of things to come but we can't lose sight of what really matters. Thanks for all that you do.

  5. Paying it forward is awesome, your recipient was almost perfectly positioned for you to honor them with your gift of time and talent!!!

  6. ETCG: Well done. 👏🏻 And I enjoyed watching all of the other six videos as you fixed item after item. That has been my experience thru my friends who owned these Odys and didn’t maintain them – broken stuff would build up and become overwhelming and suddenly you have to spend more than the Ody is worth to pass inspection / keep it on the road / etc. As for our own 2006 EXL w/RES I kept up with all of the little items and drained and filled the ATF at the first 15k and every 30k thereafter, and also changed out the power steering fluid annually, all using only “genuine” Honda fluids. THAT 2006 Ody was a great vehicle and was still going strong at 227 when I sold it to a co-worker in 2018 who is still driving it today. Hopefully this young lady (and/or “Captain”) will take good care of that Odyssey. 👏🏻

  7. I'm not crying, you're crying. Seriously though this kinda made me tear up. Eric you really helped that family out. Take the Pilot and do the same thing, keep fixing it forward, I love seeing this stuff. It's great to see this stuff vs the news and social media with so much BS on it. Keep it up. Been watching you for 12 years now, this is why.

  8. Dude – just when I thought good people cease to exist – this pops up in my feed .. You've started a chain reaction that you can't begin to understand. At the 1st opportunity, there going to pay it forward! and the domino effect begins…!!! God bless!!!

  9. Eric should start wearing his cape under his shirt, just for when the world needs a hero again. Wholesome af, seems as though the Odyssey went to where it was meant to be. Great job my man. Respect.

  10. I’m about to give my 05 Odyssey it’s 200,000 mile preventative maintenance overhaul and I know for a fact what you just did wasn’t cheap or easy…Well done sir well done indeed…

  11. Wow…. What a mechanic…. I hope most of it did not come from your pocket. I hope you don’t decide to end the pay it forward project. This is a wonderful idea. I am impressed.

  12. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

  13. It’s weird that we at Kings Island yesterday. ;). The new Orion coaster is quite an experience. :). The Beast is still the best.

  14. At 190k miles that transmission is what worries me. Especially considering the can has that cylinder deactivation.

  15. What a wonderful heart you have to change someone else's fate in such a positive way. This old world needs so many more like you and everybody that contributed to this project. Such a perfect fit for this family, the Angels must have been involved the day ya'll met. May the lord bless all of you.

  16. This is very cool, and exactly what every used car purchase needs: a competent mechanic with integrity.

I hope you keep doing Fixing it Forward. If you do, I have a vehicle I'd be willing to donate. It'd be a good family car, but it needs that magic ETCG touch.
