Working unbelievably late (or should I say early), we got the engine and transmission mounted and we’re able to fire it up – but there was a BIG problem. ONE DAY LEFT!

Wtf is up with those vise grips ? You need flat jaw ones .
Crazy shit how they ended up breaking up
3:21 she gone
15:13 XD im deaddd
You need oxy acetylene setup and that stud will come right out. Propane doesn’t get hot enough. The key is to get the corner of the manifold glowing red then twist it out with pliers.
Don’t heat the screw thing (expansion )
19:55 "that face"
very good video!!!
Quick question guys please…Did you put the pressure plate without bolts on it? Watching the process I did not see the moment you reinstall the pressure plate bolts. Thank you
When it first started it sounded like an old Mopar big block that is really junky like on roadkill when they start up the 4:40
Anyone else see them bolt on the transmission with the clutch pressure plate not bolted to the flywheel? Ummmm….. good luck with that one lol

17:53 For the "start"
"Just wanna put it out there, if this is the problem I found it so…"
"Hmm oh yeah" "Yep"
Whatever you say kid
What kind of car is that?
You need to talk to some old timers like me so you can learn some tricks to make your work easier and you can work with far more confidence.
Kid, I spent 40 years as a mechanic, when you have a broken off stud like that at 0:49 you need to get that manifold section up to dull red – cherry red heat and then give the stud a wriggle back and forth then start to undo while keeping the heat on the manifold. Also while it's red hot give the stud a bit of a resounding whack straight up to make the thread release, works nine times out of ten….A bit of brute force and ignorance in that situation can go a long way!
Adam you've got yourself 2 true friends right there!
Dope AF bro and you guys always keep your cool
I had to mute for a little bit
Alberto needs a wheelbarrow full of money for working on this project.
Rewatching this it’s weird seeing Adam without his moustache
I know that it is a 4 cylinder Toyota but is the engine a 22R or a 22RE ?
What driveshaft did u use?

I'm just getting everything ready for my 2jzge swap on 86 4runner. From 22re to 2jzge is a HUGE upgrade.
i love car engine and i like this work but…
They are awake. Soo funny
stuck studs: mini pipe wrench+ more heat – then freeze stud with computer duster(canned air) turned upside down
Bingo
