Detroit Muscle goes on the hunt for Project Ultra Violet…a 1970 Challenger. The team salvages a rotted out ’70 Challenger and shows how-to weld in a new metal roof, drip rails, and A-pillars. Chassis guru Jeff Schwartz brings in his G-Machine chassis to convert the uni-body Challenger to a full-frame. Then, the team grafts a low deck, all-aluminum Hemi, and T56 six-speed gearbox into the ’70 Challenger resto-mod.
Next, celebrity builder Chris Ryan shows how-to lay down metallic paint and graphics on the very purple Challenger and the team fabs a high flow EFI fuel system, serpentine belt drive, and dual-fan cooling system for ’70 Hemi Challenger.
Now it looks gorgeous

Looks absolutely gorgeous, but what was actually reused besides parts of the body?
What the HELL did you do to that Challenger, cutting it up to put an aftermarket chassis in it, no chemical dip to eliminate all rust. COMPLETE FAIL all the way around. Absolutely unforgivable to chop the body up like that!
