This week on PowerNation we’ve got some new tech for you from our shops, plus Katie features this beautifully restored 1949 Chevy 3100 pickup. Tim Palazzolo of GAP Racing took care of business for owner Stacy Ramos in a 6 month build. Stacy owned the truck for 20 years. The team at GAP Racing dropped it onto a TCI chassis and it’s powered by a GM Performance 525 horsepower LS3. The 3100 is a standout with that PPG red color and steel wheels also painted red and the Oak bed floor. Inside it’s very stock with a bench seat that looks like a bucket done in black leather with black carpet and a modern touch of Dakota Digital gauges. Also this week Summit NHRA Funny Car Driver Tim Wilkerson has a cool tip on octane. It’s a full block so check it out this week.
