In this video, my Cobra engine sucked up a piece of metal and then tried to blow itself up. This was totally not stressful and everything will be just fine. Everything is just fine!

  1. The Truman Show sucked. Then I had to hear about it for >10 years.
I didn't really get what made this car into a "good deal."
It was a gamble & needed an engine (maybe a tranny).
Relative low-mileage Terminator Cobras are sub $20k.
And this thing certainly didn't have regular miles on it.
Drag racing and drifting it is like 20+ times the wear.

  2. Great bit of luck , no damage.
But you get arses who put stuff in for fun, jealous.
Had a jaguar engine about 15 yrs ago, when I could work.
Got it for a great price, guy cleaned it to shiny penny standard, great packing crate.
35km engine and it was shit inside. Looked like 200 km engine.
3 yrs of court proceedings to get money back. The bloody shit hole of a guy.

  3. I can tell you how that clip ended up down in there it was clinging to a rag somebody was using to wipe the motor as they were doing the assembly came dislodged and fell in there and they didn't realize it

  4. If you see the jumping on the gauge that is indicative of a rod bearing or a oil passage getting blocked once a revaluation of a hard part that gets oil supplied. I'm sorry but that engine has problems. Put the stronger spring back in and it might last you another day or 2 of driving before it let's go. It's going to knock soon, I can hear it ready. Sorry for your loss man…

  5. You love working on cars that's really cool you're really outgoing you've become successful I got a couple of things that you might be interested in we can work together making the internal combustion engine run five times better than it does now and run clean

  6. If you want some good info on these mustangs, i would talk to Bob Monks at Stl Mustangs. He had the fastest sn95 for 3 years straight because he was the first and only guy to be able to tune the stock cpu without a handheld

  7. That kind of looks like a headlight clip. My ford pickup of similar year has them, so I wouldn't be surprised if they applied that to other models as well.

  8. I love your show and your content but you'll have that on them abandoned big jobs. I know your all about fixing someone else nightmare but your hit or miss on cars goes wayyyyyyyy up. God bless and keep up the good work!!

  9. I just love your channel, watching brings me so much joy , the struggles, the victories, all the same things that we all go through, bless you brother, you show us all how to do it, Thank you!!!

  10. Alex is definitely an enthusiastic and positive person. I enjoy watching because of this calm & and positive perspective, especially when dealing with the Murphys law principal.

Alex always maintains a great attitude, and his diagnostic skills are 2nd to none!
I like the videos for many of the great perceptions and the unwillingness to quit the project! You have a great way of bringing the viewer along with you to finalize the repairs. Thank you!! Chad

  11. You do this so much. Why don't you just get AD pending to all? You could AD pin them and put them right into the new adapter like you get A. D pen both and then just click them back in to the new one. And there would have been no cutting and no spacing unless you had to lengthen the wires for the air temperature censor.

  12. Ford had a TSB on to much oil pressure in the early 90’s & the fix was to replace the oil pump. They would literally blow the filters out like your’s did.
