Part 2 of 3: I push this classic 1956 Buick Special forward some 600 miles into the 1200 mile trip home, but am slowed by multiple break downs and issues. Along the route, I swing into the historic “Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum” for a quick after-hours tour of their impressive collection. Then – time to assess the damage and plan.
