Just a quick question why not drain or pump out the old gas first thing before rigging up one to sit in the front seat and stopping to fill up every 50 miles

God this episode is taking me back. My father inherited his grandfather's 1969 f-100 Ranger, 3 on the tree with a 390. Ford Box Green. I miss that truck. A lot.

I think those brakes, 8 lugs, springs are all for towing, usually the Camper Special had those. My 73 F350 is beefy. It may end up on your show before long lol
As far as I'm concerned Corvette was discontinued after 2019.
A feller could get discouraged on such a project, but you kept your cool. i had a 68 with a 360 as a daily driver in the late seventies and revisited some of the engineering marvels of that era. My engine had had a good rebuild, and outlasted two junkyard transmissions. Don't let your inner fenderwall electrical ground get loose with the engine running. Good memories of a tough truck.
