  1. 1600 miles in 3 days?! That's insane! Anyway I am becoming addicted to these videos. I happened to be channel surfing and saw Roadworthy Rescues on MT. I was hooked and then something about Vice Grip Garage and here I am. This video I think is my favorite so far with the seeds in the engine, mouse poison in the exhaust, tarp and sunscreen. Oh and the MacGyver radiator. Great stuff. Also, doesn't a guy get tired of wrenching on cars every single day?

  2. That reminds me of one of my first cars, a 1966 Polara convertible. The top on mine back then was mostly duct tape and black paint when I got it, and then a bunch of glue on patches.
The floors were pretty far gone and mine had a slant 6 under the hood. It was also without a radio, never had one. I bought it with a slipping transmission, which I swapped out and later rebuilt. The car overall was okay, i did end up replacing the ball joints and the fuel sender which was broken off about 4" from the bottom of the tank when i got it. Mine had 88k on it when I got it and just shy of 100k when I got rid of it. It was my first and convertible, and the soft top was mainly why I got rid of it. As a daily driver it the '76 D200 Club Cab pickup I traded it for was a much better option at the time.
