In this video, we spend 200 hours restoring my 1961 Rolls-Royce that was abandoned for years! We tackle an insane paint correction with the most dramatic before and after I’ve ever seen and I replace the original 62-year-old seats with $6,000 worth of leather! Have you ever had an English car?

These are such lovely looking cars, the epitome of a rolls and best looking, great job guys looks so good.
That upholstery is not even close to Rolls Royce standards. Wavy, crinkly, not tight enough in most places. I'd ask for a refund. It's appalling quality.
You did a grest job on bringing the carpet back. You had stains I would not have thought would come out. As far as the paint it was never buffed out that allowed you to get it back to a new finish.
It is sad as others have commented on is the leather seating. The simple back seat cushion made me wonder if he changed the spring and subsurface materials.
Still a great car especially for the price and it would be hard to sell it even for double the price. ๐๐๐๐๐
โค I'M IN LOVE GORGEOUS ROSE ๐ฏโจ
sorry to say but all rolls for our late queen where bespoke and if i'm right as gifts
we dont say "cheerio" or "pip pip" , we do say "thank you for restoring something that represents our history and culture, "top hole" ๐
Next video..use face filters the whole time
The rolls Royce looked amazingly beautiful after you were done. It should go for a good price. Great job!
you used steam on a wool carpet ?????!!
I have a very good news for you, this great looking Rolls Royce is a survivor candidate for any concours d'elegance in the USA or anywhere in the world , plus it might just win in tis category… could be a very good idea to get a "trophy " like this so the value would greatly rise up to double the resale value that you mentioned in this video. not your buying price but the sale number you mentionned in the 50,000$ range more in the 60 to 75,000$ I think.
Man…How can you part with this beautiful Car..??? Love it…๐
You can clean the carpets with a pressure washer, which is was professional rug cleaners use.
After watching I made a nice cup of tea in a bone china cup and saucer.
That is not how a RR engine should sound.
@17:55 "a big pain in the butt not having seats in this car"
HA! I see what you did there!
top job-drive it, dont sell it.
Do the upholsterers also jobs without wrinkles??? The Queen was certainly not amused ….
chip chip, cheerio………queen of england LMAO
You have made a beautiful car and then you ruined it by putting the BUTCHERS APRON on it pity good effort though
Flyby๐
and we dont talk like that
The biggest imperfection is the upholstery work
And black shoes polish would work as well
LOL great upholstery work but guess who does the rolls royce upholstery work for the late QE2 ; its drum roll…. Rolls Royce. you upholsterer is good no doubt but pushing reality a bit with that claim. Americans eh LOL
Hey, Im in Chicago as well. The rip off upholstery business is rampant. They really stiffed you. At that price, they should have sent people over to install the seats. Those loose wrinkles should have been a tip off to a rip off . Welcome to Chicago.
That recoloring balm you used, we used to call that something else. I believe its called "Shoe Polish".
That upholsterer straight up ripped you off.
No seatbelts? I would feel really odd and unsafe, even though this thing is a tank. Beautiful work.
Can I suggest that you keep this beautiful car, store it on jack stands and either will it to your grandkids or sell it when you really need the money…just my thoughts
I agree with the comments here, the upolstery looks second rate
Does it take blood out of the carpet๐๐๐๐๐๐
For a blind trimmer with no arms that would be some impressive trim work however, no one else has an excuse for that.
