A subscriber from Poland helped me cut up parts of my Turbo diesel Mercedes engine to fit a massive main injection pump and the CDI is an absolute monster now. We also installed the larger fuel injectors and uploaded a base tune. This was a very conservative tune and I’m stilling running the factory catalyst converter but she’s already so much faster. Next up is putting the catless downpipe back on and tuning on the dyno. Stayed tuned!

  1. Young man, you're just really messed up with these diesels and you're on the wrong track. No matter how much you force these diesels, they can't get more than 400 horsepower, they smoke, they waste a lot of expensive fuel, their cylinder heads crack in the chambers between the valves and you just destroy the nice cars. The cars that are tuned are BMWs from 2006 and up, the 3-liter engine with a turbo reaches 800-1200 horses. When will you achieve it with these diesels limited to 4500 revolutions? When will the competition of a BMW325M? E55 AMG stock is 350 Hp , 550 Nm torque and 4.9 s . from 0 to 100 km/H
I'm tired of watching your idiotism and how you ruin nice and economical Mercedes that someone would enjoy in original factory condition because they are economical cars with great engine life . I will never buy a car from you that you killed with your idiotic tuning. I'm tired of listening to your bragging and the superlatives you pour like a machine gun about how powerful these old diesels were. Well, a BMW diesel from the same year is 290 horsepower stock. What a great thing you have accomplished. By the way, when you talk for so long without a break, where do you get your breath? Somewhere in the back through the pants? Just leave these mercedes alone and don't wreck them, they are made for people who want to drive them long and save money, not to gave gas up and have the engine explode or have the nozzles leak with those tini pepsi 6mm bolts on the injector brackets , or blow the gasket on the head. Then you convince me how good it was to have a roaring straight piped diesel. SOMEONE SHOULD TOLD YOU THOSE THINGS AN THE END

  2. hello!! Im Brian im from spain and have a w203 c 270 cdi 5 cylinders with hibrid turbo for 280hp and 1.6 bar pressure but only have in this moment stage 1 with low pressure for these 207hp and 500nm limited. i think and see in other cases…the pump dont work more than 230hp, what nozle i need and fuel pump i can put for upgrade and catch these 280hp? i can use intercooler for 300hp mishimoto J-Line and adapt. BUT i need little help from you god of diesel :DDD thanks!!!!!!

  3. Hi Alex … It’s been some time since I visited this thread, but I recently found this link (series of videos) that I thought you might like to see https://youtube.com/@DieselPumpUK ….. They seem to know a lot about making diesel Mercedes cars go fast …. They also seem to fully understand mechanical injector pumps. i have no connection to their channel.

  4. Hi bud, I know is a bit late in the game but I would like to know which pump you got and fuel lines diameter from rail to injectors? I’m bullying a P51 around one of those engines, moving to S Dakota next year back from UK, would like to finish all my engines before bring them with me, plane will be built in S D.

  5. I've just fitted my pump and used the two pulleys you listed in the description but the belt is now too loose. Are you still using the standard belt? Mine is OM648 too.

  6. Hi Alex! I'm doing something similar on a OM 612. Why do you need the 06B109243A pulley? I understand the need of the 06B109244 – to lower down the belt – but what about the other? No mention to it on your video. Thanks

  7. thank you for instuctions. just did this to my E320 cdi wagon, for preparations to lots more power (and for some reliability issues) but it needed some more work than you showed in the video. mainly for the belt rerouting. but worked in the end.
now i miss only a turbo for my build and i have a nice powerfull daily driver
