Why do you need a breaklight kill switch ?
A Volvo V60 with a tuned D5 engine (350 Hp) and a gas tank big enough for two stops. Refueling in truck stops for a bigger gas flow. Also using night vision goggles would help to go fast at night for the beginning in New York and the end in California.

I will say the S6 looks so much better than the E63. I got only an A6 at 500hp, and I love it. I would love to get an S8 and bring it up to 800-900hp. They do 0-60 in 2.6-2.9s.

Was he saying he opened up the BCM and changed the programming on a microchip to override the brake lights? That's not a easy thing to accomplish.

He obviously doesn't know of the BMW 35d engines that can produce 400-500HP and 900-1000NM with modifciations?? With 4WD those are a rocket ship that can keep up easily with an E63 or similar and double the gas mileage.
I am sure the Merc V8 diesel or the new Audi diesels with tunes will be a good choice as well.
