Those extractor sockets are worth their weight in gold Lol! I had a rounded out oil drain plug on my car and went to change the oil and found it after I bought the car! I got one of these sets and it came off in seconds; I’m not even going to say how long I tried to do it without it.
Actually you wrong chris. The piler can remove the round nut better than extractor socket as long as you got the right one which is (Self locking piler). And it just one tool instead of different socket size.
I got a round nut once. I wish I got a nut breaker at that time because the bolt is soft. No matter what extractor or piler using. It will chisel it off. Which my first time came across soft nut.
I use a piler which is KNIPEX COBRA. It can remove anything. Even a round pipe. If you can remove round things. You know what other things that can't be remove. I got a few more nut that is round but it not a soft nut so it came of easy with this piler. You should it it out and you will love it. For me it worth every penny.
If you try it out. You will know that I prove you wrong. Or try to prove me wrong.
I recommend you use the same brand if you can find.( KNIPEX COBRA.) If can't find it. There alot of self locking piler out there that is well known name.
Remember to use garlic with the Vampliers !
