WARNING: You will most likely never see another video like this on the channel, so be prepared! The entire Chevelle build jammed into one video with high-lights from every episode plus the Cleetus and Cars burnout at the Freedom Factory to send it off! There’s so many freedoms in this video, I wouldn’t be surprised if you ended up standing. Huge thanks to everyone that takes the time to like, comment, share, and subscribe – you made this possible!
Also thank you to: Comp cams, Procharger, holley, Cold Case, Wire Care, Harmon Performance Transmission, Lincoln Electric, PEAK, duplicolor and so many other great humans that supported the build and helped with your kindness.

The ultimate Chevrolet 🇺🇲🇺🇲
I was very disappointed that the body wasn’t fixed and painted.
Sorry, Derek. I spelled your name wrong.
Derrick, a guy wants to know, where you got all your knowledge? I think you said, your Dad owned a shop, or did you go to school? I mean, I ain’t kiddin! You get everything running, no matter what! I know you do this all the time on carbonated engines, but good Lord, I wish I had half your knowledge. I’ll do my brakes, oil, belts, small jobs like that, but I tried putting a timing belt in my 2000 Chrysler Concorde, and we’ll, a guy didn’t end up happy. This is after putting at least 4 grand into it? Been sitting covered in my yard for the past year. I wish I could fix the bent valves, and give it to my sister, who has a 6 year old Down syndrome little boy, my little buddy. I’d hate to have a local junkyard offer me $500, for it, when I just put all that money into it?
That brought a tear to a fellas eye 😢
Hi derick enjoyed watching the whole process of this build thanks for sharing love it blessings cheers bring the thunder ⛈️
3:23 someone peep'n out their hotel window, wondering what in tarnation is goin on in the parking lot. INDEPENDENCE, BABY! That's what's goin on!

I LOVE IT! Omg I am so glad you kept Independence and her first meet paint. This is the BEST! Dude you are AWESOME
What an amazing tribute and you nailed it 100%. So glad you didn’t scrap her
I’ve spent 5 years bringing my 71 Chevelle back to life. Mine looked like Independence when you stripped her. I love Chevelles
I hope VGG, you and Jessica are here for many many more million years
Beyond words! YouTube at its best.
Now that's not fair
Patriot music while saying "bring the thunder" really got to me. You folks made Independence my favorite car/my bbf. I'm kinda choked up now… like seeing a speckled puppy on Christmas morning
Thanks so much for this
Sharper than a toddlers toe nails and jlows assets made me spit my coffee out and then my beer haaa .0700 from Wyoming.
Man, that last little bit hit me right in the fee…. I'm not crying you're crying!
Watching your videos makes me want to work on my 1980 Camaro. I purchased also a 1978 Camaro. Which has a Z28 front end. The guy I talked to told me he could not find a coupe model front end. So I did a search all over Texas, and only found one. But it did not have my there. But I found lots of Z28 front ends. So purchased it, it has a good 350 engine to replace my 305 bored .30 over. And the interior is brand new. Also the seats front and back. So I am going to have a new interior.
This video should be shown in every auto mechanics class in North America. I love this video and Derek is a really great guy with a hilarious sense of humor. Huge thanks for making this video and to the M.R.S. who I assume was the editor
Have watched this more times than a few…chills every time
