  1. I had an Oldsmobile and the engine had the Grand National 6 with the arrow going through it on it. I guess it was the Grand National logo with the “6 turbo” motif. Weird thing was it was not turbo charged nor was it engine swapped. My parents had bought it new and gave it to me in the early 90’s. Always thought it was a bit weird. The engine was rock solid and pulled good up until the time I sold it with over 200k miles on it. Never did anything to it but change the oil every few thousand miles. Was a solid car for a young guy with little money. But I always thought it was weird that it had the grand national emblem on the motor?!

  2. Those telescoping antennas used to be a shelf item at the parts store for obvious reasons. You ain’t the first and won’t be the last to forget to turn the radio off when entering the wash. They’re probably still out there to be had. You may have to unbolt the fender to get to it.

  3. When I was a kid and rode the bus to school I had to change buses at a high school. The principal drove a brand new Grand national and I would wait by his car for the next bus. I would daydream about one day driving one myself. Unfortunately even a non running example is out of my budget now, but it is still one of my all time favorite cars and I've enjoyed watching this build.

  4. THE Most Important thing about the spray nozzle on the rattle can is that the straw is part of the nozzle. When the little straw comes up out of the can, without fail, the 1st time it gets dropped the straw gets broken off & the whole can is a waste.

  5. Next interior redo then rust treatment on the underside and paint or under coating and the final thing a total paint job. Just saying what I would do if it was mine. I would even think about something custom when it came to the paint like maybe some blue flames on the hood and fenders.
