Offroad Spot Lights. So here are my inexpensive, $27 a pair, Harbor Freight, offroad lights. They are a great deal and really light up the road. I first show how they are set up (during the day) and then I show how they look at night and compare them to the normal headlights.
Here is my newest video series on building and wiring an LED Light Bar which is 40,000 lumens:

Quick question how many vehicles have you owned in your lifetime
Im staying up late watching your videos for ideas. I’m going to do exactly what you have done here tomorrow. Harbor freight still has these lights in stock for $27! Thank you @ChrisFix !
8 years old you have came so far
I wonder if I comment on a Chrisfix video 7 years old if he’ll respond
Thinking of doing this using a piece of leftover superstrut with Hella valuefit 90mm LED spotlights.
Chris I cannot find me firewall location on my 1999 Ford Ranger XLT
u should of used Split Wire Loom Tubing to protect da wires
first video of chris fix that has less than 2 million views
@chrisfix is that half inch square tubing ? How long did you cut it ? Thanks
How did you make the mounting bracket? It would be really nice to know since I would not like to drill into my bumper
kinda wanna do a mod like this on my Ford Ranger. Mazda is the same set up as learned from you so it shouldn't be hard.
Its been two years what was the durability of these harboyr freight off road lights?
You need to move them in just a bit so you don’t have that black line in the middle of them
Oflc U
has anyone upgraded these to leds????
how many watt lights are they ???
If you are going to use these dump the generic 100 watt bulbs they come with and install name brand 130 watt bulbs.
100 Watt H3's are only 2300 lumens each while 130 Watt H3's are 3650 lumens each.
can you mount multiple ground wires, all mounted separately, to the same piece of metal frame?
Hey Chris, are you updating these ones for led off road lights?
Hey Chris i just wanted to let you know I picked a pair of those lights today. Me and my son put them in, in about an hour and a half, of course I already had a brush guard with mounting points so it was easy to mount, but man you can sure find the shotty work other people do when your working on a used truck, no grommets to protect the wires in the firewall as well as my amp power wire had chunks of the insulation missing. (I disconnected it till i can replace it) Anyways I just wanted to say thank you for all the helpful videos and when are we going to see something new?
are you still using the off road lights
why not just put a relay on the hi beams ? .. that's what Ima do on my ranger . that way I don't have to run wires or switches .. if I need more light I just turn my hi beams on and those suckers will turn right on .
so I was looking through your videos to try and find one on how to fix a headlight issue I'm having. so, my trucks headlights do not turn on. it's a 2003 Chevy s10 v6. I checked my relay and fuses and those are all good, but for some reasons my headlights just don't come on at all. any idea what it may be?
+Chrisfix I have a ford ranger and want to build a similar light mount, how did you build the bar itself and where does it bolt too?
When doing such installations, please, use relays.
painted black ply wood and expanding foam filler to hold the light bar from vibrating going down the road ,i may do that with my mounts holding my 20 led light bar and yea i checked out your project night light vid that was sweet
What year
Hello Chris.
I know this is an old video, however why you don't put a bixenon projector with hid kit instead of these many lights with huge energy consumption?
Looks so weard
Hello Chris! Did you make a seperate video that is step by step of how you installed these off road lights?
I know this is an older video but is it possible to tie them in with the existing fog light switch so I wouldn't have to install new switches? Or would that be pulling to many amps for the current switch?
Hey Chris where did you order this light package?
offroad light beam pattern is like we mounts four of flashlights in the front 😂
but actually is a good tips
what did you use for brackets? is it bolted or welded together?
Very clean installation Chris
Does that increase the value of the truck?
i got 4 just like you did feom jarbor freight cause of this video lol but whats the best way to adjust which way they're facing?
Why can you turn off the passenger airbag in this truck?
