We tried scratching the hell out of a $5,000 self-healing car wrap and it’s indestructible! Watch horrible scratches totally disappear!
My cheap salvage auction P85D Tesla with ludicrous plus mode is 100% complete and looking ridiculous with a complete refresh body kit, carbon fiber spoiler, and massive black chrome wheels but it’s almost too nice to drive now. I’ve always wondered if a heat-activated self-healing paint protection film or PPF could withstand real abuse so after removing some dents, correcting some paint, tinting the windows and applying the super thick paint protectin film we try to destroy it. The results are truly shocking and I now understand why high-end or expensive car owners don’t think twice about spending between $5,000 and $10,000 to have their car fully protected.

Big thanks to Chicago Auto Pros for their amazing work on the Tesla. If you need car detailing work, tinted windows, dent removal, full wraps and more give them a call and mention LegitStreetCars.

  1. I really not a big fan of Tesla. I don't like how they operate their business but I must say that you have a great looking car. Congrats and I can only imagine the hard work you have done to get it back to looking great.

  2. Fine looking vehicle. Brought it from the grave to something anyone would be proud of owning. As far as when normal passenger cars will be EV….hard to say. I'm a geezer(67) and recently bought a Cadillac xt5 so I won't be needing anything new for a while. But I'm pro technology and I could see myself buying one next go around. By then I may be driving primarily in town and an EV will be perfect for me. Charge at home and go about your daily business w/o buying gas. I talked to Tesla this go around but I still drive a lot out of town and charging is not the greatest where I go(in the south). I imagine there will be a lot of improvements with charging stations over the next few years tho.

  3. What a great transformation on that Model S! I love seeing the care and insightful upgrades that Legit Street cars go through. This is inspirational! I had a 21104 Chevy Volt that was crushed by a tree. I loved that car, and a Model S is one of my dream cars. Great video.

  4. There you guys go again: Dah Favs… how do I get in on the Cool Mc Cool set? Just wanna hang with you guys… Never too old to learn! Jason… it's either that… or the chapter of bikers… bike after bike, after bike, after bike… maybe 6-10 months on " Bike Detail?" 😉
