Today we got a call to drain and fill a Subaru Forester transmission. Watch as we very cautiously try not to make a giant mess. I promise the newer videos will be better just give it a little time to get through the older ones. We have some cool videos coming soon.

  1. Please link the tools you used like the hand pump for filling the transmission fluid from the container. You could get some additional $$$ for affiliate marketing the products you use. The scan tool as well and the software you have on the iPad. Keep doing a great job. Love watching the videos. Mention some "whys" every now and then for us DIY mechanics.

  2. We use Burnt Oil to Burn Brush on the Farm but this is not CA.. CA. is so Green while China where everything in America is Made–Pollutes the World but none of the Global Elites who make Billions off China never worry…

  3. CV axles are a super common problem on Subarus. I typically recommend for people to stick with the OEM ones as far as replacements are concerned because Subarus are very iffy with aftermarket units. Or perhaps if the owner decides to go ahead with the repair on that you can rebuild the ones that are in this car assuming that they're not too far gone and clicking. So there's some decisions to be made there.

  4. I have been following you for a little over a month and really enjoying your videos!!! Being a DIY type of guy I really enjoy your comments and the professional way your go about your work!!! Keep your style of presenting yourself and the explaining as you go along!!! Really enjoy it!!! Lots of luck on your new channel and I have no dought you will be looking back in a year and seeing the fruits of your dedication!!!! God bless!!!

  5. I know you know what you're doing, but I've been told many times to pull the fill plug before draining. Better to find out it can't be filled before you drain it

  6. Yuck, tranny fluid is the worst! I just flushed and changed the tranny fluid in my daughter's Toyota Prius c exactly the same way. Filler plug just slightly above the drain plug down below on the tranny. I think transmission servicing is one of the most overlooked things by car owners.
