My 1999 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG isn’t slow, but it isn’t fast either. I decided to add some cheap horsepower by installing a Zex Nitrous Kit. In this video, I show you how I installed nitrous on my C43 and we discover that the C43 is even more hacked up than we thought.
Big thanks to the guys at Zex. Check out their nitrous kit here:

Guess what 0-60 MPH will be with Nitrous. Did 6.8 seconds before. Can it do 5 seconds?
💩 💩 💩 lol just kidding. All good brother. Love the videos.
I know this is old but I deal with a tuner called VTech Jesus he is awesome his TCU you can spray while shifting
It sounds like a spark to me too.
Papi u kinda crazy I been watching all ur mercedes vids I have 2004 c240 what can I do to make it a Lil more fast hahaha and cheap
I think you should start running Nitro methane and blow the goddamn thing up!
Love your content! Great job on all your videos. I have a question I just bought a 08 cls63 where's the best place to tap into a fuel line? Or where do I get my fuel from? Thanks for any help you can give
Hi there, i recently bought a 2007 c 320 cdi (i just fall in love with it). The car is in a good condition; it drives and feels smooth, but two-three minutes after starting it, it vibrates (only in idle or slow marching). I’ve been making sone researches and watching your videos, but i haven’t found any reason for that or anyone who had experienced the same as i. I really appreciate it if you could take some of your time and throw some light here.
Quick question can I install A NOS kit on a c350 ?
Alex is s coupe v12 2002 any good …
If you get a tune to retard ignition timing enough and a tune that adds more fuel to the system you can run better and safer numbers. The way i learned is you need to get the spray after the MAF Sensor like you did and before the intake air temp sensor so the PCM/ECU can see the temperature drop to about 55/60 degrees for maximum performance. When your pcm understands the temp drop your engine will perform cooler and will allow you to retard ignition timing and add more fuel due to the 33 percent of Oxygen inside NOS, compared to the 21 percent of oxygen your engine would normally be breathing with ambient air, your system can still run lean. The tune will do a better job then the NOS controller in my opinion. We gained good numbers with only a 50 shot of nitrous. Gained about 59 hp and 65 lbs-ft of torque with 0 percent Knock! This way protects your engine. The way we did it is we retarded timing about 4 degrees, 5 if necessary and added about 6 percent more fuel to the system at an rpm range of 3500 to like 6500 rpm and ran like a champ. This was done to a stock k20 Honda engine with a Hondata ECU. Intake air temp went from 89 degrees to to 55 degrees in a hurry, after that run the whole manifold was cold. Retarding ignition timing and adding more fuel will protect you from going Lean. Lean is mean, lean breaks components and going richer is safer and you can stay away from detonation or preignition. we used a 12.6 :1 Air fuel ratio and we also ran wide-band 02 sensors to stay away from a lean situation and to know what the A/F ratio is at all times. Not worth it blowing your engine up!
It's like watching roadkill! I like this sum bitch! Just like me. Good heart and shitty cars that we like to beat the shit out of haha! More subs dammit!!! Hurry up!
My old CLK 430 did this EXACT thing, coming and going, switching from bank to bank.. It was degredation of the coils.
Got a great deal on X 10 of them £8 each, so £80 total – around $110 for you guys over there
Hey "Kenboy" a hater!!! L7.
Man skoty kilmer must hate you 😂😂
$200! Somewhere back in 1971 I paid $190 for my 1st car, a Austin-Healey Sprite, the truth about it is, people commented and said that it is a Flintstone Stone mobile (rusty bucket foot area), the rust in my floor boards where so bad you can see the ground beneath you. Back then my car had no wind up windows and the car didn't come with plastic side curtains either, so it was open air ventilation year around, the top was not convertible, it was a fiberglass removable top, (got caught with the top off a few times) but that didn't matter because, I got the car in the spring season, had some 2 or 3 months of fun in it, then, it broke down and then I sold it for $90 basically, I rented a two seated car of fun for a couple or three months (no 2 way or 3 way pun intended) on this event.
Love your content MAN! I have a 2014 CLA 250 but I think your choice of projects/selections of Benzs, is what I would like to have, & BE UPDATED ON, GREAT WORK MAN!
Most of al,l Thanks for the descriptive video repair portion of your content!
How much for Nose kit
Don't get your hands anywhere near it until you replace all those ignition bits!! Unless you think a "perm" hairstyle looks good on you
That noise sounds like some insanely strong arcing
spark
noise could be a fuel tank evap solenoid
Real Engines no need sparkplugs
seems legit street cars
For the ticking try raising the oil level
God Damn you talk a lot just run it
Bad connecting rod and/or rod bearing
Anyone giving you a thumbs down obviously has no idea about cars…. Keep up the great work/videos.
This car is still more reliable than anything Tyler Hoover owns.
take a spray bottle with water and soak the ignition system/wires to see if you can see the spark jumping replace all ignition wires/coils/plugs sounds like a spark arc to ground
Don’t say to email you cause I did just that & you never responded to your fan !
It sounds like you already replaced the wires, so my guess is a few cracked coils. I have seen it many times on high mileage/older 112/113 motors. Spray down with water and do a thorough inspection because it is not always obvious
I really don't believe if the car sat out side on a hot day that the 1200psi from the bottle pressure would mean the kit would run lean. The jets to my knowledge flow what their going to flow. If I'm correct what happens in cases of too much bottle pressure is the solenoids could run the risk of failing. Zex has one of the only kits I've seen that has a 900psi green zone. Most are around 1050.
I hade a 2004 Sierra with a 5.3 and it did something very similar. I’m sure it was a lifter.
don't you need a horn for inspection?
Hello Alex! I'm your subscriber for some time now and you're videos made me to look for some v8 Mercedes, I found one 2008 e550 4matic but not too sure if having the same engine and powertrain from e55 amg, please advise, thank you.
Pour some Lucas Oil in it. If it's a mechanical tick it should clear it up. Not going to actually fix anything but shouldn't click any more.
Spark plug wires.
