My guess for ptu implosion is 167350 miles. I use Blaster Surface Shield for rust, not sure how readily available Amsoil products are here in Canada.

The factory defect is having the water pump behind the timing chain. That's the main reason i'll never buy one.

I dont think a reset to the servo lock should be the way to go after pulling the manual unlock wire. The CCS controller will probably control the lock mech. A reset / power cycle of this controler should be enough to reset the state, follow the wires from the lock and led wires from the connector to find where its installed. Probably a sw reset via can or an ethernet communication is possible too although finding this will be hard without any service technician. There is no calibration necessary for these types of locks by the way.
PS: The charge lock part looks pretty generic. I seen this on TE ccs2 charge connectors too. I think the part is readily available. No need to buy the entire lock next time 🙂

Taurus SHO Transfer Case Fail Guess: (in multi parts) 1. If the JB Weld cures long enough to seal, I think it will last until you replace/sell iit. However, (guess 2), if the JB Weld doesn’t seal/cure my guess is leaking again at 156,700 and if left alone but, continue to drive…. Full grenade @ 186,640!
