ALEX please help. I tried to reach you via email but have not heard back from you. I am using the video as for reference but I have tried several videos you set the link to get the $20 repair manuals but the link always redirects me then this message appears. I wish I had been following you before this video. I don’t know why the algorithm never recommended your channel to me sooner since I mainly watch automotive content. I began watching because you fix up cars that are within my realm of attaining. Do I like super cars, sure…who doesn’t. But it’s difficult to watch channels who consistently drive cars I’ll never be able to own. You channel is very relatable, you my friend I relate with very much. I am a single father and have raised my three boys by myself since they were 6yr, 5yr, and 18mths old. I was actually homeless in 2016 and the kids had to stay with their mom which was most difficult for them, but our bond was so strong as soon as I corrected my life and got back on track they immediately came back to continue living with me as if nothing ever happened. I do however suffer from ptsd from being truly homeless, sleeping under bridges and in the local parks. It was pure divine intervention that saved my life. I wish there were more people like you around here that could have helped me out. There were literally so many occasions where if the right person were there I would have avoided homelessness altogether. People don’t realize the value of having a car which I did not during my time being homeless. Had I owned a car I would have been able to avoid most of what I went through. Seeing someone on YouTube giving someone a car who deserves it, really speaks to the volume of your character and your morals. Thank you for doing things like this for those who could use it. That car could mean the difference of living on the street or not. Those things definitely correlate. Thank you for being a positive force on YouTube. You stay grounded and you know your audience. Keep up the good work and keep giving back. I remember not having a car cost me so many good job opportunities because I could not get to interviews. Yes I was homeless but I’m educated and highly experienced in the automotive and aerospace industries, it’s a long story which I would love to share with others one day so I can hopefully help others avoid that same fate. It’s a vicious cycle many do not understand and I was truly blessed to have found a way out and get back to making 6 figures. Owning an Audi and having two rare Honda projects. A 91 CRX Si perfect body and we have a B17 GSR engine and trans we are going to rebuild and swap it in. That engine is super rare and the car being in the condition it’s in is again very rare. And also a we have a 94 Civic with a straight body and it also will receive possibly the B18C1 Integra GSR engine in it hopefully. Ask Peter, he will understand the rarity of Honda’s B17 GSR engine and trans that hasn’t been completely trashed. Anyways, that’s my novel to you just to say thank you for being a positive influence on this platform. You can tell you’re not just doing it to get rich or become famous, you literally figured out a way to make a living doing what you love to do and I only wish I could do the same but I am still rebuilding my life as you can imagine. Yeah I bought some cars but I am still trying to get me and my youngest into a house. I wouldn’t trade my life experiences for anything because it taught me to be humble and grateful for whatever I have. Many people stress over finances where as I don’t anymore going from no roof over my head and only eating three meals a week to having an apartment and some nice cars and being able to eat when I want, buying my boys what they want and just knowing I can pay the bills is such a freeing feeling. My kids are all grown up now and for better or worse they witnessed what I went through and respect me more now after seeing everything I went through to get them back. It also taught them what not to do as well. Again all that to say thank you Alex, for being a genuinely great guy. I hope that one day I can be in a position to help others. I used to overhaul jet engines, then I learned sheet metal structural repair and now I work on the electrical systems for aircraft which has helped me become very capable when working on cars. I serviced everything on my Audi but lord are those parts expensive. Probably too much information, but hell, if you don’t share your story people will never know how cruel and how precious life can be. Plus it’s an old video so I’m sure this will just sit here. But it makes me feel better acknowledging just how good of a dude you are
