Why don't you get a shopeter that uses oil or whatever you put into it? A friend of mine has one and it works very well and it doesn't matter if it has any freeze in it. It still burns it

Can never go wrong with an LS swap. Honestly I would have gone the M113 V8 route to Keep the German refinement yet be as reliable or better than an LS. I look at it as the LS engine from Germany.

This car is awesome! All the joy of a 500E or Hammer, but you're not afraid to drive it! I'd never thought about an LS-swapped Mercedes, but now I kind of want one, and a 124 I would take no matter what.

Love it. Wanted to do an LS W124 black on black with AMG monoblocks myself. This would be my iteration of an AMG Hammer but at an attainable price. Was wondering how they routed that exhaust since it has to go forward before going down and out. Personally, I'd take the 300D and 2.5 Turbo emblems off and just leave the Benz logo. Just needs a factory style shifter and a new steering wheel or get that one leather wrapped.

On my w124 250D, My battery charges at 13-14v with engine ON sometimes, which is regular.
Sometimes it goin down to only about12.3v therefore the battery gets down and battery (and ABS) warning lights get ON on the board.
Could be the (alternator) regulator? or any electrical network issue?
I also pre fill depending on the angle of the filter

The diesels in these are good for about 4 million kilometers! I had one which was barely run in at 420000kms. European cabbies used these for millions of kms!
