  1. @LegitStreetCars don't know is there any other way to contact you, so this may be shoot in the dark but will try. Dear Alex, I am from Croatia, small country in Europe, let's say close to your ancestors in Italy, if that makes any sense 😂
I have an ml320 CDI from 2007. with "only" 130tm and I am experiencing some issues with my transmission. It started to slip or jump in rpm when shifting from 4-5 gear. Let me explain, oil change was made 2 years ago maybe 7tm ago. And this issue started recently. When hot, rpm goes up like you added gas and then it shifts to 5th gear. Usually shifts at 2krpm now in 4 starts to shift at 2krpm spins up 2200 and then engages 5 gear. Other gear changes are buttery smooth except that notorious jolt from 2-1 usually when colder. So if you read this I would be surprised 🙀 but you never know 😊 keep up the great work Alex and God bless you. Regards from Croatia ❤

  2. @Alex does tuning the 65 make it less reliable as the components arnt designed for that amount of power? If this is true would u think of upgrading pistons, rods, crank and cams??

  3. Illegitimate is my perception of the many videos watched on this channel since my recent purchase of a used Mercedes.

One who fails to disclose that parts are most likely provided for free from places like FCP Euro, whose service has been way below my experience of Rock Auto, is a shill.

Congratulations on your thriving sham, which I find lacking in detail or experience as a real mechanic.

This slick marketing and fluff-hype may work well in the realm of cosmetics, but I am unsubbed to consume the smaller and way more informative, honest content on YouTube

Best wishes for the greatest possible wealth!!!!

  4. I know you will never see this, but i just found you and love your videos. Amazing contents, you make these repairs look effortless

  5. Take the hit and sell that bucket of lemons…..its not even that nice looking for a vehicle. Just drive the Grand National and stay away from "german engineering". This is alot like women, if you wait for one without issues you will never find one. Enjoy you show but you tend to enjoy lost causes but thanks for the hilarious moments in narration. Take a break from the over engineered German money pit and go pee.

  6. As tempting as it is to buy a luxury mercedes for same price of a used 5 year old toyota corrola the temptation goes away when I see a professional mercedes mechanic with a shop and all the tools going insane trying to figure whats wrong with it

  7. Noob Saibot, Smoke, Reptile, Sub Zero, Scorpion, i memorized all the moves for this set of characters and they are all my favorite, until you get into MK4 or later, then it was Cyrex or however that cyborg name was spelled. and reptile/scorpion. newer MK's Scorpion, and the blind swordsman guy.

as for cars.. should have gotten a 335i.. twin turbo, can make good power.. or an F80 M3.. or MK4 Supra.. less headache than this Mercedes. honestly, i loved BMW cars for work, easy work, just time consuming, Mercedes was just ass all around. pain in the ass work, bolts crammed into tight corners that required damaging tools or coming up with super creative ways to get e torx bolts out on back corners of engines. the fact the valve covers didn't have gaskets on some of their engines, but instead used a special sealant, that was suppose to sit to cure for 24 hours but customers don't want to wait that long.. yeah.. not a fan of Mercedes.

  8. My dishwasher broke today after 8yrs service
I bought a replacement which was more expensive but had no choice and the pipe which connects to the waste was different 🤔
But as luck would have it the new one had a flexible end that was a tight fit into the existing waste 😊 I was lucky
Your patience and determination to fix this mercedes goes above and beyond 🙏
I drive a C350 diesel wagon no issues
I take my hat off to you for your determination
It gives us all inspiration and hope 😊
I'd like a buddy like you pal 👍 keep up the amazingly good work 👏

  9. A high quality aftermarket ecu should solve your problems like magic! The issue is the over engineering of mercs old ecus, it tries to be too clever without actually being! You should check if FuelTech wants to partner with you! FT600 would run both engine and the automatic gearbox

  10. Hey man, so I have an Audi S5 V8 that was giving me misfires on all cylinders, particularly cylinder 7. I changed out all the coil packs and low and behold 2 weeks later the problem reappears. Anyway long story short after some investigating I changed out my MAF sensor and the problem was solved. If the MAF sensor is on its way out it can vary how much fuel each cylinder gets and this can lead to multiple misfires. I know your beautiful AMG doesn't have MAF sensors, but has MAP sensors. Cheap enough part, it might be worth changing them out. Lovin' your work and I can't wait to see you doing a problem free full pull in your V12

  11. That stock ECU not able to log enough data is really not helping at all but I am not sure if there is any aftermarket ECU that supports the platform and hopefully does not require a new wiring harness as well as easy to tune.

  12. My 80 ish father has been a Mercedes man from the early 1970's with his 1969 280 dual carb sedan, to his 1973 220D sedan, till several other version and today he pulls an Airstream trailer with a ML350 Diesel. But he has had so many problems with them… He works on them himself. Pulled the transfer case from the SUV and rebuilt it a few years ago. He loves the drivability of the Mercedes cars and SUVs, but man, the reliability of any Mercedes STINKS! Just so horrible.
Once he sells this ML350, he will never buy another…

  13. On your spark plugs – did you upload each spark plug serial number to the ecm? If you didnt, the engine light will come on…, just kidding of course. How does a factory mercedes pressure hose only 3 years old blow out like that; crappy quality from mercedes or their venders. A $20 hose that mercedes charges $200 -300 dollars for. Ppl who can afford these cars brand new enjoy them while under warranty or extended protection plans. After a year or two trade them in for the next luxury sport with a warranty and extended protection plan. The car they trade in gets advertised as a one owner w/a 100 point used car check up that you/I feel was a deal only to become a money pit. Leave it factory. Once you begin uprading this and that – you're never done. Good vid, good luck w/the car

  14. It's comforting to know that even Professional mechanics like Alex and backyard ones like myself share the same experiences working on Euro cars. I replaced the valve cover gaskets on my Volvo recently and with a V8 jammed in there very similar, no toilet breaks until progress was made.

    PS Sub-Zero was my favourite!
