3. When you "double cycle" the ignition swith, in addition to priming the fuel pump, the ECM of the vehicle is programmed to "fatten up" the injector pulse width for start up. It was a bandaid program in the computer designed to account for a car that wouldn't start on the first try.

6. You mentioning the ICM causing that issue reminded me of my 98 pontiac grand am gt with the Quad 4 engine and 5 speed manual transmission 🤦 Would randomly stall out going down the road. Sometimes it would fire right back up and sometimes I'd have to let it sit a few minutes.

12. In the late '80s GM wanted to make the 4th gen F-body a FWD but never went through with it. This car is probably the closest GM came to making that reality.

17. My 89 mustang LX hatch at 3500 feet of elevation, all stock except for a 3.73 rear gear ratio, wore out t5 transmission, had to shift it at 5000 rpm, anything above that it wouldn't go into gear. Ran a best of 15.15 ET at 94mph. That is a really nice Oldsmobile.

20. My 89 thunderbird. I dropped the tank. Rusted bolts. Had to buy steel straps. Later on i put a hole under the back seat to access the fuel pump

21. I had a white 92 cutlass just like this except it was automatic. I put a set of Flowmaster mufflers with 12 inch resonators in the middle of the car and it sounded really good.
