My two favorite hobbies have finally collided! Vintage/classic cars, and racing. Come with me as I pick up this amazing 1938 Chevrolet Master Delux Coupe! Formerly raced by Hall Of Famer Harry “Luke” McLean! **Please be sure to comment on what you think I should do with this car. Also, if you have any history, photographs, video, etc please be sure to get ahold of me. We’re building its history at the Superior Speedway so it can be preserved as well as giving the family updates.**

Check the captain side front tire, looks like a barn nail was sticking out of the tread ( during the driveway stop).
Can’t believe you never experienced the awesome death wobble
Preserve the PAINT, TAKE IT FOR A SPIN IN RUSTY ACRES AFTER A RAIN OR SNOW, keep it in GARAGE UNTIL YOU BUILD YOUR MUSIM OR PEARMID 👍🤠🇺🇸 26:17
Leave it like it is and take it to as many car shows that you can
I had a very similar thing. Could not find the fault. A friend found out it was play in the steering box
283 was a great engine to build
I love the car . I like to have one myself . Thanks for showing us to us Derek
I think that’s cool how he wrote the firing order on the fire wall. O.G. Racer
This seems worse than that mid engine inside the car built you picked up off demolition ranch guys.
First time to see this vid. But I love to see a guy get so excited about a car. Thanks for keeping a historic car going b
When you go to McDonalds for lunch just get the burger and frys you already have the shake.
Bad King pins
A dream come true, that car. When I was a street racing lad during the 60's, the 283's were respected for being quick and durable.
don't ride a cow home if it doesn't have a horn

Dont know much about dirt track cars but that shake reminds me of the death wobble in my f250.
I like the street able rat rod notion.
I've got a 38 chevy Cp. I've been drag'n my feet on.This vid helps motivate.
F'n amazing! I'll bet that drive home was pure exhilaration.
Race it be carefull you dont have to win to have fun thats what the car would want
Awesome acquisition feller!👍
I know this comment is 3 years old, but I suggest is street rod, street legal with extra seat so others can enjoy it too
Thanks for sharing
Leave it alone it needs to be Kept just as she is. It's Bad Ass! I ran a circle burner in High School. All the old cars gone now but you have a piece of race History. 777 my Lucky Number
What happen to this car
Goulburn New South Wales Australia. Guys love watching. Thank you for the videos 👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺💙👍👍
I would love to see it put street legal. And drive it to car shows and other events as a street rod
Maybe lean windshield, a good set of street tires, king bee headlights, a pair of old round Pontiac talelights.
Looks like you got what Jeepers refer to as Death Wobble. Once you hit a certain speed it shakes apart. Suspension related issue, usually bad ball joints
