  1. A little update for you guys. In July we I raced in the 24hrs of Lemons endurance race and had to quarantine for 2 weeks after. In the meantime, since I couldn't film, I was working on editing videos and planning out content. I have a dent removal video coming out next and then the endurance race video coming out right after. I am still alive, just life is getting in the way of getting stuff done sometimes. Hopefully you can understand and hopefully you enjoyed this video which has been requested since the engine super clean video!

  2. Everybody I know who knows something about cars all agree ChrisFix is the GOAT of mechanics. You help soooooooooooooooo many people. Thank you from all of us.

  3. Pro tip: I find that fresh painters tape wrapped around a regular socket works better than wheel sockets. I've been using this method for years and I've never had a problem, even on high gloss wheels. I've left new scratches on my wheels with every pair of wheel sockets I've used, no matter how careful I am. Best of all, painters tape is dirt cheap!

  4. i was about to say; ok, the wheel look good but the rusty remain will look ugly… but now it look very clean. Do you have any tips to paint calipers without removing them ?

  5. I see that the Maguiar's Endurance Tire Gel is petroleum based. I thought that was a big no-no. They also make M40 and M57 which is not petroleum based and has the UV protectant. 303 also makes one without the petroleum. Id be curious to hear your thoughts M.Fix.

  6. How would you go about fixing crowsfooting /lacquer cracking on on side of a car? Looks good from a distance but has a bunch of tiny cracks in the paint on passenger doors and fender/quarter panel. Color is bright aqua metallic from gm

  7. I think for the wheels in this video you could have used the ceramic coating that you used on the trim of the black SUV that you hand polished and did some paint work on. But, I think any protection on the wheels is a good idea.

  8. ChrisFix: "..I actually didn't clean the wheels for two years and over 20k miles specifically for this video, so I could show you guys, if we could clean this and make it look brand new you'll have no problem cleaning your wheels and making your wheels look brand new!"
That one guy watching this who hasn't cleaned his wheels in three years: 👁👄👁

  9. Chris Fix is the real deal…This man will not shower for a month just to show us how to eliminate all that buildup, mildew and scum on our body !! 😂👌🏼

  10. So stoked to have another ChrisFix video in my watch library. I’d watch you clean a damn sponge xD

  11. Megs makes a great non acid wheel and tyre cleaner that is a great one stop shop spray and works way better on tyres 🙂

  12. I just had the great fortune of having all 4 wheels replaced under warranty on my (2nd hand) car due to the paint peeling. I've got to do them justice and keep them clean from the get-go. EBC yellow pads provide me all the break dust in the world.

  13. I don’t need to clean my wheels but I still watch it cause a chrisfix upload fay is a great day

  14. I just removed the wheels on my car to rotate them! Along with an oil change.

Didn't clean them this time as I'm selling the car soon and also don't have a good drive way but for my next car (in a place with an amazing driveway!), these videos are waiting for a re-watch. Haha

  15. The only channel which makes simple tasks so good with the right amount of good editing 👌

  16. I’ve been a subscriber for many years now and “Hey Guys!” Never fails to make me smile

  17. Brush care question.
Am I correct in thinking the brushes for the wheels should not be used anywhere else, like interior?

Or, can they be fully cleaned?

  18. Some tips from someone that has spent way too much time researching wheel cleaning:
•spray your wheel cleaner of choice on the wheel dry without a pre-rinse and then rinse after you let it soak for a couple mins( all the pre rinse does is dilute the cleaner you use). Only exception would be if the wheel is muddy
•Avoid solvent based tyre gels, all it does is eat the side wall of your tyre and reduce its life cycle ( better yet avoid tyre gels all together but to each their own )
Otherwise excellent video as always Chrisfix

  19. Another great video mate, well done! Roll on summer, can’t wait to do mine 😊

  20. Chris didn´t want to use pressure washer ´cause you know ¨wanna do it with simple tools¨ then proceeds to use a heat gun and an electric rotary tool, LMAO, don´t get me wrong, I love Chris videos but damn, that scalated quickly. BTW nice work in the video, cant wait to see the next BMW vid!
