I sent my Nissan Frontier to the dealer ship when I got it to get the shocks replaced and it cost me 900 Canadian dollars , now that because I didn’t know anything about how easy to change the shocks and after investigation I found out that the price for the shocks we around 300 $ for both and the dealership charged me 500$ for and hour of work Mabe even less than that . These videos help in a way that people don’t get scammed by dealers or mechanics, thank you Chris and thanks to all people out there trying to make a difference. Much appreciated .

So simple – thanks for confirming my suspicion. Great video – very clear!
Looks super easy. I'm off to my driveway to do it myself. Thanks for the video!
Try doing this on a old square body, it’s a pain in the a$$
This is good for those who cannot afford expensive hand tools.
Why would I want basic hand tools as shocks?
Hi Chris! Would there be any bad effect if I change my stock rear shocks to a different brand and leave the stock front struts? Hope you can help me.
A good idea when torquing down bushings is to do it with the weight of the car on the suspension if possible. That'll keep the bushing from squeaking and wearing out prematurely because it's "natural position" is with the suspension hanging instead of loaded like it normally would be on the road.
Sir, size 15 mm. & 18 mm. bolts are always use to secure the shocks? I'm planning to do it myself.
what tool you need to use if the shock absorber is stuck and doesnt come out????
Where's the video about how to tell if your shocks are bad?

How important is the torque wrench?
How does one know how much torque is needed for your car?
I have a curiousity anout shock and strut. What are the differences between them?
Completed this job myself! RockAuto shocks for $21 each, basic hand tools, and 20 mins for the driver's side, and 5.5 hours for the passenger side – UGH. It was rust-bonded to the lower stud. I'm finding EVERYTHING on the passenger side is more rusty – just 5 years in the salt-throwing midwest winters are BRUTAL on the car.
so my 4 door .car makes a squeaky noise whenever I go over a bump, but only when I go a little to fast over the bump where it makes my car jump up high. When I have passengers in the back seat, it'll do it even more. Is it my shocks that are making the noise?ðŸ˜ÂÂ
