Window wont roll up? Learn how to replace a window regulator motor in your car. Replacing the window motor is less expensive than replacing the entire window regulator assembly. Replacing the window motor can fix a window that is stuck down, or doesn’t roll down at all. Also if your window is getting stuck or is slow to go up and down, or it is making a grinding or whining noise, this video will show you how to repair it.

Love this channel! Only thing I would add is to put a nut onto the bolt before you cut it, so you can remove the nut and clean up the end of the threads.
like a broken Butten in my dads truck
I like your video
This would've been useful a few days ago when I had to do this on my Jetta
It seems every time I have a problem you come out with a solution. This will come in handy soon!
Me who buys cars with crank windows: interesting
Thanks Chris! About to do this on my 2000 Civic 5 speed coupe. A lot easier than it looks!
Great job ðŸ‘ÂÂ
Had both of my motors on both windows go out on the beetle.. Had one of the worst summers in Texas heat..
Oh.. And the AC stopped working that I had fully replaced 3 months in for $2500..
I hope my regulator isn't bad. I got crank windows which means If I have a bad regulator then I screwed up my arm.
Þчõýь øýтõрõÑÂÂýþ. Ñþûьшþõ ÑÂÂÿðÑÂÂøñþ ÷ð рðñþту!
My window literally broke 2 days ago :0
Wouldn't it make more sense for these types of videos to show how to replace the entire window regulator since ur already there? Making another video just for that seems kind of pointless
When we getting video on turbo del sol 🙁
Hey ChrisFix!! How are you doing man? You and your voice made my day better. What are your thoughts on the 6.5L V12 Engine from the Last Lamborghini Aventador. I was so sad about the ending of the Aventador era. Nice Boi. Comes to end next year. It takes time to become timeless. Just like you and your videos.
I have been waiting so long for this
So a viper window regulator and a viper under a car cover. Did Chris buy a viper?
This video jinxed me… my beetle’s regulator is failing casually after i watching this ðŸ¤â€ÂðŸ˜ÂÂ
didn't even finish watching already liked and subscribed
Thanks, Chrisfix! Amazing how you always have the video I need. Have a great day!
Soapy wooder intensifies
A few years back this happened to my 2005 Toyota Kluger (the Highlander in Australia) where on the driver's side if you roll the windows down and then up it will lose power and stop. It took quite a long time to get it working, but we eventually replaced the motor, and works as new.ÂÂÂ
Now if the other window motors aren't' working due to age like my starter motor, I can just watch this Chrisfix video and hopefully complete a DIY repair. Plus I get to learn the science behind it which I love.
BTW Congratulations on becoming the largest Automotive channel on YouTube!
chrisfix is the best tutor i've seen on youtube. I like the way it's very complete. now i'm looking for how to repaint the trunk of a car, fix a leaky roof/trim, paint a striped body, repair and paint the bumper car. Indonesia is calling.
little tip when cutting bolts. put the nut on it then cut. when you remove the nut after the cut, it will fix the threads.
