Learn how to repair the hybrid battery in a generation 3 Prius 2010-2015 so you can get your Prius back on the road. If you are getting a “check hybrid system” notification or P0A80, P3011, P3012, P3013 codes that means the hybrid battery is failing. Not only are we replacing the hybrid battery but we are upgrading it to new cylindrical cells that give you more power and have lower resistance so your regenerative braking can charge up the batteries quicker.

i don't even own a prius but i like just watching your videos.
I haven’t even started watching the video and I already liked it
You should do how to fix an A/C in the next video
if u have a talent no matter what you do, u will do it perfect.. chris fix is a living example..
What's with so much waving with hands?
whats the OEM mile range vs this upgraded hybrid battery range?
Great detailed video… I've owned a 2nd Gen Prius for 4 years.. put 223,000 on it in that time.. 423,000 on it total. They are great cars. Definitely a learning curve to working one them.. But they are NOT hard to wrench on for the most part.
Hey so, if the aftermarket "has more power" isn't that a concern? Wouldn't it stress the CVT and other stock systems?
I don’t have a Prius but this was entertaining 😂
Is the return shipping for the core charge pre-paid? If you have to pay it, take it to your local scrap yard and have them give you an offer. Even if it's slightly less than the core, you might still save money from not having to pay return shipping.
And it’s really just that easy 😳
The moment Chris uploads a DiY fix/replacement of a Tesla motor is when he has ascended into God mode
This is a great tutorial for someone who does not know what a screwdriver or wrench is. I don't recommend this video for a diy person.
Yay I don't have a hybrid but it's still a chris fix episode ðŸ‘ÂÂ
Interesting… NiMH cylindrical cells. Interesting how a Li-on aftermarket upgrade came out before this upgrade. They are vague on the specs when it comes to performance. They say it exceeds OEM, but doesn't specify if the capacity is higher. The aftermarket Li-on option has higher performance than OEM, but is much lighter (about half as much) with the same capacity.
Not the biggest fan of Prius’s. But wow they have some good electrical engineers.
You thinking about keeping it now? Part of the deal was you sell it.
Thanks for the video love to see you posting still.
That OG video inspired me to fix a $500 gen 2. It was not terrible but I will recomended replacing all cells if you can cuz I had to take it apart 2 more times
Out with the old in with the new
This is easier in comparison to changing my old e46 starter
I wish we could crowd find chrisfix to fix everything on every vehicle. It would be amazing. I’d like to see more performance stuff and more truck stuff
do i own a prius, no
will i ever own one, not sure

Good video. I’m looking forward to more videos on the del sol!!!
Chris never ceases to amaze me.
