Work is finally starting on the Big Block 1990 Suburban, I call the “Suburballac”. There’s a dozen small items that need attention, as well as some large projects, so I decided to break out the small ones into a few “how to’s”, then we’ll tackle the big projects in a full episode.

Never had me a window holder six thousand
Looks too spensive
I don’t need this lesson but I can’t stop binge watching
So cool to re-watch these old vids, Derek is still exactly the same, the guy has grown in confidence in front of the camera, but just shows it is who he really is…
A guy decided to rewatch all of a fella's vidjeos. 6/26/24
iPad wallet on door panel?😂
An oldie but a goodie.
VGG!
I started watching your channel about 3 years ago. Just watched the most recent video with the Cadillac in Springfield Mo (100 miles from me & I work for O’Reilly lol). Decided to go back & to the beginning of the channel. Just a tip for others… I have always used packing tape or duct tape to hold the window up when doing this crap. Ford window motors are a similar experience except they give you room in the door to pull the regulator out 😛
It was really nice of Boyd Coddington to let you borrow his shirt. 🤙
I'll go rhythm
That's a sweet square body 'burban. Is that still in the fleet?
It's amazing to watch your transformation over the years. You're a lot more relaxed and verbal. Best channel on YouTube.
You can take the old motor if it is still working, and take it apart and clean it good and lube it and clean the tracks good and lube.
Perfectotimereenie: I'm in the middle of same said yank and bang relationshi* with my '90 4×4. Thanks!
Didn't know who you were in that shirt.. you almost always have that blue work shirt..peb
👊👊👊👊
Hot diggety!
I just did this to my 2009 GMC canyon. I think my phone listens to me because it recommended this one.😊. Watched a lot of the rescue videos now getting around to watching some more of his how-to's. It's all very entertaining😂. Derek's like Elvis. There's the early Memphis Derek, and now we have the Vegas Derek.😊
Sound bit is perfect amd " i aint kiddin ya"
Wow this is old I don't know how I missed it..?
Whatever happened to "more things to do" with the suburbilac?
Watched this about a zillion years ago, came back to see what my memory skipped. Noticed you didn't use the term "Tanya Harding". Hell, probably a whole bunch of your viewers don't even know who Tanya was.
Great information. I have done 100 ford window motors, never a chevy.
So very informative. Thanks Derek
Black velvet🥹
Nice shirt
The Sasquatch in shorts sighting is definitely more rarer than your standard Sasquatch sighting. I almost don’t believe it, but I have to cuz I’m lookin right at it
Is there any more suburban? I like it!
Just stumbled across your channel. I have a 78 C10 that I put 85 Suburban doors on. They worked okay for awhile and had to start pulling them up. Great how to video and fun to watch too. Love the 57 Chevy, the Camaro, and the Harley. All great toys to have.
I'm coming back to this video because I actually need to do this. Thanks!
We have an 88 suburban purchased when we were raising our 4 kids, our youngest was 2 weeks old. She is now 27 and driving it around. We have so many memories in that suburban I can not part with it.
Great job there Neighbor, love fixing my own stuff as well, what a cool, clean older rig.very enjoyable to watch your work sir.
Liked, shared and commented.
Ive done those twice on my yukon. Not fun at all but youre right. Takes patients
I’m sorry that it took me so long to find your channel. I am in the process of watching all of your shows. Thank you for the videos.
Now that is a going to town shirt
Bleep Bloop! I’m running a 96 suburban with tons of issues, and your vids have me LOVING the work… Even started saying “Suburbillac”. Thank you, Derek and fam.
A guy used to wear shorts
Im gonna tell you a thing or 2 about a thing or 2
Was that really a '69 Z28 you called a work bench????
Lol!!!
Gotta love a guy who uses a Camaro trunk lid as a work bench!
