You Sr make look so easy. You give me the confidence that I can do this job on my 95 4runner but then when I look underneat my rig I see it's not easy. One of these days I'll get to it.
I can only assume that this is not your first job putting in ball joints and you are renting a tool even if I do a job once I buy the tool it's mine forever
What torque to set the wrench if there is range?
Thanks for the another interesting video.😊ðŸ‘ÂÂ
This guy has saved Americans collectively probably millions, without doubt. Amazing channel ðŸâ€Â¥ðŸâ€Â¥ðŸâ€Â¥ðŸâ€Â¥ðŸâ€ÂÂ¥
do I need to put the car weight on suspension before I torque the castle nuts to spec?
that wrench trick blew my mind. i had to stand up and take a sec to collect myself. i cant wait to show my buddy this, i bet hes never seen it before
The amount of time you spend on everything. Including editing blows my mind. Thank you for your videos, you do an excellent job teaching. Not too fast not too slow!
A+!!!!!
My spindle nut won’t come off I’ve broken 3 bars haha
" If you want to" is bad advise. You NEED to put anti seize on the drive shaft. If that gets stuck in there you will end up having to replace the shaft and the spindle. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Smart man thanks from Iraq for you
Thanks for your time mr criss may i ask you how can I know the right torque specs for any car bolts am working on.
I'm more of a suspension mechanic myself, I can do motor work but diagnose and repair external engine parts. I'm about to save 450 on my Lincoln by pressing them instead of changing out the lower arms. Great video on press procedure man. Thanks.

Advance auto charged me $230.00 for rental. The price for the ball joint remover / installer
Today i learned something!
This video saved me hundreds – thanks Chris
Great video
Much respect and thank you so much for the help
YOU DONT HAVE TO USE THE C CLAMP UPSIDE DOWN….IT WILL PULL BALL JOINT JUST AS EASY…
block it close to ball joint ,spray penetrating oil on it and you can beat it off with ball pin hammer, then all you have to do is press new one on..
Great video. ChrisFix doesn’t sound as enthusiastic in this video as he does in his others. Maybe he was sick while filming?
Most jobs are easier if you have thousands of dollars of tools…. (I don't)
Hey Chris it’s me again, I’m changing my ball joint and 2 front sway bar end links tomorrow, do I have to get my wheels aligned after doing that? Thank you!!!
Should we change ball joints in pairs ie both front lower ball joints? thanks!!!
