Rust removal and repair. Repairing rust on your car is something that should be done quickly to prevent it from spreading. It can be easily done without welding, by using strong but inexpensive body filler. You can even paint the car yourself. 1. This is a great video and give a very good idea how to repair rust and paint at home but as Chris mentioned if you do all this at home it will not be perfect like a professional paint job. Second before painting at home check if your color code can blend nicely with old paint or not, if your car has metallic colour then it will be very difficult to blend. If you are a person who is not concerned about perfect blending then this is a go to video for repairing rust at home.

  4. They Chris, I'd like to thank you for the details. I did this for my dad's Escape. Sanded down and removed rust and rebuilt the fender folds inward using Fiberglass bondo and mesh. Gold Bondo next.
