The Go2 Socket goes on a ratchet like a socket, it changes sizes like a crescent wrench, and it clamps down like a vise. It will grip rounded bolts, nuts, and even studs. Pretty much anything that fits in the cavity it will grip on. I even used it to loosen up a broken oxygen sensor that was completely stripped! This is a great tool to save you when you encounter a rounded nut or bolt! It will pay for itself the first time you use it!

  1. I would not buy or own this because it is off centered its too clunky large, the locking screw should have had the gripping end touching the same as the exterior surface of the nut grabber.
I own a much better tool with variable sizes that i can get in anywhere i need it.
That would only be useful as a paper weight.

  2. I actually like those individual sockets that remove rounded bolts. I was replacing my transmission fluid and I had five bolts on my transmission pan that kept spinning on the head. Even after using smaller sockets and or an impact drill, did not come out. after using that socket, they came out no question. Definitely saved me from drilling out those bolts on the transmission pan. 😉

  3. Needed for drain plug for oil change spent countless hours of almost rounded plug to drain old oil dont want to strip oil pain as well and its bad timing with weather 30 or below

  4. It’s been advised in other videos that the 12 point socket is a poor choice for engaging rounded over bolt or nut shoulders.
The 6 point might have been worth a try for that lug nut issue just test the theory.
Nicely done video. Addressed typical real world fastener problems.
    Best…

  5. You don’t “think” this is made for regular bolts that you can take off easily with a regular wrench? That is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard you say…and definitely in the top 10 of all time. The entire reason for this tool’s existence, it’s purpose, marketing, package graphics, and express statements in the instructions demonstrate without any question or ambiguity that this tool is NOT for bolts that you can take off easily with a regular wrench and ONLY for bolts that cannot be taken off easily with a regular wrench.
Not a good review. Sorry. Usually I am impressed with your stuff but you went off the common sense reservation on this one, and drove your POS PT Cruiser straight into an idiot wall.

  6. I don't know if this would work or not. But getting a rounded bolt off . if you can thread the head of a bolt about halfway down it with reverse threads and then put a nut on it I don't know if that would take it off or not but it could be something interesting for someone to try…

  7. That ground wire 🤢 haha. I used to live in the rust belt. Now I’m so thankful to live in Oregon with now salt on the roads and very dry conditions. My 92 looks like a 2 yr old car back in Vermont lol.

Also did you say anything to the mechanic who stripped your lug? That’s bs lol. I’d be so mad to be stuck on the road with that..

  8. I love getting larger nuts off 😂😂😂😂

  9. Are you still giving away any of these. lol. ik im late. like 6 years late. i have a rusted exhaust flange bolt and my irwin extractors wont get it off. im out of ideas.

  10. One trick I've used in getting rounded lugnuts off is put some aluminum foil over the lug nut and beat the socket on with a 4 lb hammer, usually works

  11. Hope the daughter of the inventor sees my channel I need on of this yesterday 🚗 🚘

  12. ive actually just very carefully welded a small piece of steel to a bolt head to get it off. cant do it in every situation obviously

  13. If your watching this in 2020 I feel your pain 😂😂
