Learn how to flush and fill the coolant in your car or truck. Keep your radiator, heater core, and engine clean. Flushing your coolant is good for the cooling system to prevent rust and to prevent your car from overheating.
First you drain the old coolant from the radiator, then you fill it with distilled water and coolant flush chemical. Then you run the car. Then you drain the water from the radiator and fill it with 50/50 antifreeze.

Being a single woman, God Bless you, and thank you so much for helping me. Smiles so big…… I think I can do this.
So you do it through the reservoir and not the radiator? Or
Spilling coolant everywhere there is a reason why bmw uses Blue Coolant!
would you do this through the coolant reservoir or the radiator cap? I have both on my car
Doninhave to do al that driving around orrrr…..
Question .. How to change the coolant when there is no radiator cap only an overflow reservoir ?
This is really edited well. Thanks for posting!
That's the coolest funnel I've ever seen
My local garage told me they don't perform this service as too many problems can happen (like a transmission flush).
Thank you Chris, very helpful.
This was very informative I loved it!
Please what's the duration for changing your coolant?
Thank you!
He is definitly selling this car…using 2 year yellow fluid vs the silica free pink stuff 😉
Thanks for the video
Working on a car with a friend in the rain sounds like a perfect Saturday for me. idk why lol
My guy
Where do I find said worter you are using to clean the system
My Corsa d 1.2 2010, I have a car with spanner symbol and radiator fan running all the time, I flushed my coolant system a year ago, changed all my oil and filters. I replaced my radiator coolant sensor as I thought that was the issue, I’m gonna change the thermostat as the coolant going from the expansion tank into the engine is warm after a drive but pipe that comes back out of the engine through the thermostat into the radiator is cold which means thermostat may be locked closed or open. Gonna change that, I checked the radiator fan resistor that looks ok and relays all look ok
Anyone notice the brake light?
What if my truck has had the heater core by passed & I'm not able to bleed the radiator properly?
does anyone know why I can only add 6ish to 6.5ishL before my radiator won't allow any more coolant to be sucked through? My capacity is suppose to be 7.4L, I've started the engine and put heat on to get the water pump to suck the coolant through but it starts over flowing out the top of the radiator
I just love watching these old Chrifix vids
What a horrible day 😢 nice vid x
Can I leave the radiator super cleaner + flush for 3 days and normal drive use to fully clean the radiator?
does this method with with any car?
For the water and radiator flush, can you just dump that in the toilet?
I thought you had to disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses to get out all the coolant.. NO?
