The Turbo Del Sol project has been abandoned for years but now it’s time to get her off jack stands and take her out of the storage unit and get her back on the road. In this video I show you how to remove odors from your car after a flood, fix a bad fuel pump, fix seized drum brakes, and then we take the car to the drag strip and dyno to put down some numbers before adding the turbocharger.

  1. From what I gathered from these comments is that Chris accidentally gave us the most important lesson in project cars: Sometimes life gets in the way so your progress slows down or stops and that is okay! If ChrisFix can do it, so does everyone else!

P.S Thank you for showing me that working on your car is not scary at all!

  2. I am skit scad scared to even touch my most loved project, in the fear of snuffing up too much before i can even enjoy my progress. I am just a nerd who dropped his screwdriver next to a sprocket and started to wonder why it was turning. so i got an old 90's NPR that was robbed of its toolbox and other junk and thrown to the bushes. i want to chase neon in that truck but it truly is a daunting task that i seem to not be able to throw wrenches at because of just the fear of snuffing it up worse than it already is. its the best symbol in my life and hopefully when i can truly fight for that poor machine and fulfill my promise to it i will try and show others the journey.
