Learn how to detail a car with faded, scratched, paint. I will show you how to do paint correction by hand, how to remove swirl marks, how to restore faded trim, how to restore headlights, and finally how to fix sun damaged paint. I got this car for $500 and it wasn’t running and was super dirty. Now the car runs and looks dripping wet!

Hopefully you guys like the video! It's basically 4-5 videos in one with tons of info on how to get your car clean!
So we can avoid the same comments over and over, check the description for all the links! Also, yes, ChrisFish is me, and not an impostor. It is my second channel I will start this year for when I go fishing, which I love to do. It is my way of still "working" and not feeling bad about going out fishing instead of filming, editing, or answering comments. Now I can do both!

$500 car Lord you can probably sell those wheels for $500
Great work. I'm impressed. Keep it up!
Great video, I wish you had included redoing the pin stripes visible in the first before after clip
Who here also says “after†like Chris after watching these.
Awesome Chris.
Actually the first thing I would do Chrisfix is clay bar the paint to remove any trapped dirt. Then do the compound and polish. Also check out the Cerakote products.
Very simple neat results it is awesome
Gosh why does it look like an advertisement 😂 but it worth
I swear when he said "alright there's one last thing to do", I was expecting "you've officially been pimped" …
The main benefit to touch up paint is protecting bare metal against rust. The appearance is secondary.
I like to work on my car and when I have questions I ask my husband and then immediately regret that and tell him let me see what Chris Fix says🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey, ChrisFix My mom and I own a 2006 Kia Amanti and the doors are painted metal can we use the compound and the polish on the metal or do we need something different
If I did this to my entire truck it would look so nice
Hey Chris how are u? Love all your videos. I have a question though today i tried to paint a detail on my car (the way u showed us) but both the paint and the clear coat seemed to be a little runny (maybe because i didn't spray from a far enough because the detail was on the roof). Anyway do u think when it's cured completely i would be able to sandpapper it properly without waves or bumps or do you have any other tips for me 🙂 Thank you!
Get yourself 2k touchup carpaint in a spraybottle, bit harder to find but the finish is like professionally sprayed no orange peel either, and its way more resistant to daily abuse.
I really like this series… because my parents own a black Chevy trailblazer.
On my wheels I used oven cleaner. I just sprayed on let sit for 15 minutes and hosed off one side at a time.
Wheels looked new.
Want to buy this car
So chrisfix what are you doing, are you taking off the clear coat? Will the wax act like a clear coat cuz I'm very confused. If you taking off the top oxidized layer doesn't that mean without the clear coat the paint will rust?
instead of wax can you use ceramic coat?
