  1. Very cool diagnostic. I find out the lower ball joint is bad when the car makes all kinds of noises like an old squeaky wooden stair. Then the tire fell off the car at low speed but the axle landed back on the inside of the wheel rim. I got lucky.

  2. You have saved me lots of money from your videos. Thank you. May God give you blessings.
Anyone in the 210. Let’s fix cars together.

  3. Does the rear wheels have ball joints? I replaced wheel bearing but still getting wheel play can someone help me out 🙂

  4. Also sometimes I share this, the Bible says that GOD loves us so much that he sent his son JESUS CHRIST to this earth and HE lived a perfect sinless life. And JESUS went to a cross and gave HIS life for us.And rose again in 3 days and who ever will receive JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR AND ASK HIM TO COME INTO THEIR HEART AND FORGIVE THEIR SINS,HE WILL TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN.

  5. In order to feel the wear of ball joints, you must jack up or support the lower control arm with the load of the suspension supported. Otherwise you are working against the suspension/springs to feel for the wear of the ball joints. In order words, jack it up and support it by the lower control arm. Your video shows the vehicle weight on stands resting on the frame. Good video and explanation though.

  6. Instant sub. Watch some vids with u awhile back and i wont forget that engine cover spray job. Think it was a honda. I drive a mitsubishi fto and i think i have a bad balljoint will it jump out on me one of these days going to work or can i just cruise? I dont hear all of that noise tho

  7. Great video. I need upper and lower replaced 👍🏻

  8. More often than not, any play you feel when you try to "wiggle" the tire with your hands at the 6 and 12 positions will indicate a bad wheel bearing. You're not likely to be able to feel a bad ball joint that way because of spring pressure against it. The pry bar under the wheel is a more sure way to check them.

  9. The tire wiggle mostly shows the condition of the wheel bearing, but will also show ball joint slop. Better way while it's lifted like that is to pry upward with a pry-bar between the pavement & lower control arm while watching the joints for vertical/horizontal play.
